this place seems to have changed so much; since my last visit about 7 years ago: many years ago i worked for an employment agench based just above the seekers place at the bottom of the high street: it was called kent personnel services and was started up by mr and mrs shepherd in 1974; anyone remember it,? just love this nostalgic trip

I've been wondering all week what Maidstone Town Centre is like, I nearly took the 101 from Chatham yesterday for an adventure ride 😂. I'm so glad I found your video, I felt I was literally there and the weather made it all the more interesting. History mixed with modern life👍🏾 Will definitely visit now. Thanks

My late father came from Maidstone and I haven’t been back for years,so nice to see some familiar and new sights,such as Fremlin walk.I’ll have to make the effort to come down from Shropshire……soon 👍

Love this part of Kent, even though not in the town centre did you venture off to the lovely Mote Park?? Last time I went there I had a Wendy's, so happy that is back in the UK for the past after closing in late 2000 as you prob know-and The 1st one back was the Reading restaurant which opened on June 2, 2021! Do you also like Theme/Waterparks, Museums, Theatre etc??

About 14:20 there used to be a Pub there right next to the rail station - this Pub was derelict for years - what was it called? I can't remember. I visited Maidstone today for the first time in 3 or 4 years - went to go to Nero's and it's gone or moved.
