I use Adams ceramic waterless wash mixed 1:1 with water and use that for cleaning my glass inside and out. I think it helps keep the fogging to a minimum. But it's a really good glass cleaner if nothing else.

I LOVE Grady-White Center consoles! Very nice boat! Great for fishing. Meguiars and 3M make a line of Marine compounds, polishes and protectants. They are made for gelcoat. You need at a rotary or a least a long throw 21mm polisher for best results. You'll find both stocked at West Marine. They are much more aggressive than those made for cars because gelcoat is rock-hard.

CSL as well as Exo can be applied as stand alone products, CSL is the more durable product but lacks the gloss and slickness of Exo. I typically will apply them together. If were to apply either as a stand alone it would be CSL because of its durability and top it with C2v3 to add some slickness and gloss, and use C2v3 as a maintenance topper.

I can tell you the benefits of using Gtechniq Crystal Serum Light (not layerable) as a Base Coat and 2 layers of Gtechniq EXO V4 for Top Coat, Matt says it give the best gloss and is so smooth to the touch :) , he even uses this on the wheels! which i dont know is a good idea, but even Matt says he prefers this to wheel specific coatings although he doesnt know if it will do something really :)

Hi Brian .what do you think to fogx for inside of glass ?? Thanks
@mattz0004 жыл бұрын
I'd have to disagree about gtechniq being intended to always go together and sold together. They sell them together but they also sell separately. I agree you get the best of both worlds when you use something like CSL and exo but I use them separately as well. C1 and CSL are still hydrophobic just not as much. Maybe more sheeting than beading but they definitely still give great results each on their own.

Dont get me wrong i love the channel and your great aswell Brian :), its just i want the best content for you and more views means more $$$ for you which you deserve since your 1 of the hardest working tubers on here. for example take Pans - 2019 car detailing products awards! it has over 200.000 views. If you do it, with your daily experience, which is gold and one of your strenghts, im sure you could do even better. Sure it will take some time, but it will happen.

Hi Brian, Why do so many detailing channels include slickness as a test? IMO this test does nothing to add to the working of the product. If slickness is a precursor of hydrophobic properties (beading/sheeting) then this test is redundant. In the real world, how many people actually touch someone’s car to see how slick the paint is (before being shot by the owner)?
@apexdetail854 жыл бұрын
Slickness is an indication the surface will not attract dust quite as much.
@peterjurenovskis59334 жыл бұрын
Thanks for clearing this up

ow no i just loved the year end awards, they were so nice and in depth and really usefull for most peeps. I would stop with the our rides which is not usefull at all. I mean there are better ways for that like post them on your instagram. If people want their ride on the internet then just do that yourself.their is tons of website's and social media for that. Like Vinwiki to name one! speaking for me i really dont wanna see other people their cars here, if i want to see nice cars i go and google them etc. last time there was a simple vauxhall in there. I understand that person is happy and proud of it, but im pretty sure most people here dont want to see it. Thats not what this channel is about in my opinion and it costs you a lot of time which is way better spend in year end awards or a in depth top 3 per catagory. Also if you do it well, im sure you get way more views aswell. we, who watch all your video's, dont do that so we get to see other people's cars. We love your work, and we care about your opinion, we love all detailing related. Thats my opinion, and im sure there are a lot here who agree?
