I would like to see an old 8 Track player donated. Most people won't even know what that is.

Imagine how much data you could store on that.

Best settings for the retrotink have 2x enabled and comb to auto. Cleans up the image pretty well. The scanline filter is pretty cool. Almost makes it look like a crt. Straight composite does look better. Im using an old 24inch led samsung tv and it looks pretty good. Honstly i would love to hook up an Apple ii/c64 an imax projector. On my bucket list...

Yeah. I'll have to spend some time playing with the 'tink.

Hey Joe - re: the RetroTink, that is my experience too - i.e., that my C64 (for instance) looks better on a composite monitor than it does on my HDMI monitor via the 'tink, but the RetroTink has been invaluable for live screen capture of composite outputs to HDMI.

Atari my atari 800/65xe has native composite. That mod could be svideo... as for the bodge wiring could be a memory upgrade to 128k... just a theory...
@JoesComputerMuseum3 жыл бұрын
Yeah. The memory hack could also be diagnostics for a glitch. Hard to say without digging into it.
