What a cool little steam engine!!!! I think you have a perfect candidate to operate a fall foliage steam excursion train on your layout. A couple passenger cars and convert some gondolas into open top viewing cars (check out the Potomac eagle scenic railway for prototype gondolas). You have all that wonderful fall foliage. Lol

I got one of those engines in a mystery box this year, too. Took me some time to figure out how to attach the tender without bending any pins. I ended up doing it in a foam cradle, and then carried it to the track. Very impressed with Rapido this year. I was pretty much speechless when I opened it. It never occurred to me that they might send me a steam engine.

Great box! I also ordered a mystery box this year. Mine was....a rather weird. I got a great selection of rolling stock and awesome trinkets like t-shirt, like bus ornament for the tree, chocolates. My Locomotives though.....I got a BC rail M420 B Unit set.....yeah 2 B units. Now, they were with out a doubt gorgeous pieces and sounded amazing. In the end though I ended up trading someone for a GP9Rm Slug set which was brand new so I was over the moon with that and the person I traded with was very happy too. What I learned with these boxes you either got something you like or....one heck of a bargaining chip for the second hand market. Rapido locos hold value and when in new condition can make our money back with these boxes easily or more. In the end my box cost me 370 canadian...I had over 900 bucks worth of stuff. Incredible valuem

Put a couple of heavy weight passenger cars behind it and run a steam fan fall excursion. Very nice!

Interesting loco! One of those at Strassburg RR and a number of them preserved. I saw one of them in Ottawa back in the 1980s.

@@gunter7299 I've got a little bit of everything going on... Lol Relatively minimal woodland scenics, just one little section of that remains at this point. But the rest is a mix of scenic Express and Arizona Rock and Mineral.
