I guarantee any manufacturer that cares about their products, they watch Brian's reviews carefully. Everybody is well aware it is one of the few sources where you cannot buy, in one form or another, a favorable or gently worded review. This one you have to earn all the way. Which makes it one of the very few that really matters. Thanks, Brian! 👍👌✌

Thanks for discussing the new Bauer DA polisher. The Bauer 64528 is the model I picked up in the Raleigh, NC area back in Aug 2019. As a hobbiest, it's working well for me. I did a headlight restoration video with the 64528 on my channel and the results were awesome. I'd love some feedback on that video if you're interested.

I opened my TorqR rotary yesterday because the locking plate gave out. Everything was great except the circuit board that controlled the speeds and shut of switch. The board looked poorly welded and looks like a small battery burnt out. I'm second guessing purchasing another Torq product.

Should I use reset all washes on waxes and sealant protected vehicles ? Or will it kill the protection right off ?
@tonymattisson61584 жыл бұрын
I'm not Brian. Yes you can use Carpro Reset on any LSP. The thing is to measure the dilution properly. Since Reset if diluted stronger than the recommended dilution it can degrade wax and sealants. The recommended dilution is 1:500 and an easy way to properly dilute it is 1oz Reset in 4 gallons of water. Just to ad something I have used Reset at 1:800 even with still a great lubrication from it and on a lightly dirty car no problem with takeing it of. Also saw that you asked about useing Reset in the foamcannon if I saw correctly. The same goes here is to not dilute it stronger than the recommended dilution when it gets on the paint. This is a little tricky to calculate the dilution ratio from a foamcannon. First different PW and foamcannon setups dilute differently. What you do is to measure the dilution ratio from the foamcannon on your PW. Generally speaking your foamcannon usually has a dilution of 1:20 on the max chemical output on the foamcannon. And to get Reset in the 1:500 on the paint you dilute it 1oz to 25oz water in the foamcannon bottle and max chemical output on the foamcannon. Know that you don't may get the thickest foam but you have a wax and sealant safe Reset solution on the paint when you do the contact wash with Reset. I just use it in the wash bucket and wash with multible wash mitts and mf wash pads. If you thinking of useing Reset as a prewash foam. I personally would not do so and instead use something like Angelwax Cleanliness or Gtechnic W4 Citrus Foam that's a dedicated prewash foam and PW clean rinsing it off then do the Reset wash. Hope it helps you a little.

Brain, I have been detailing my own vehicles since I was 16 and I'm 56 now, however I never got into paint correction and putting down ceramic coatings. I've been watching your channel for 3 months now and I really want to start doing paint correction and ceramic coatings. I will only be working on my own vehicles and maybe a few of my friends, I can't start my own business due to being a 100% disabled vet. With that being said I did have my 19 Mustang GT/CS Professionally paint corrected and a ceramic coating by Opticoat pro. My question is I need to know what entry level polisher should i go with and the recommended pads by brand name? I have CARPRO reset, GRIOTS Foaming Surface Wash, GRIOTS Foaming Poly Gloss and ONR to maintain the Mustang. All recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Brian, why is it entry level DA polishers have short throws? What is the down side to starting a beginner on a 15mm throw DA?
