Just speaking from a different view maybe we need to use our speed wrs for down the field passes not excusing Caleb for missing open guys but it just seems like the chances of the pass being completed increases when the guy can actually run under the ball

maybe, but i always felt like that was blown out of proportion. he gets more hate than criminals that are in the nfl. people feel threatened because he doesn't fit the status quo image of a football player. they have to convince themselves that he's a bad dude because they don't like that.
@Carlbooze4 күн бұрын
@@eyz-4 Oh, and I know that other players aren't angels, but it's just he says and does things that should rub some people the wrong way. Ignoring future teammates, downplaying and minimizing what the best QB in the game does, when he could just show it on the field. Even if he knew that people might be jealous of him, does he need to say it? For what reason? Why would you ignore somebody who took time out of their day to wish you well? And, I saw that video, it's obvious that he thought that he was too important to greet Keenan Allen! You said people made a big deal out of what he did, I don't think that they mention it at all, and based on that, that's a problem!

I think Caleb may have came in with some cockyness but what would you expect with all the waves made for him in the draft but I think that is also what put the bullseye on his back this year from all the opps and possibly teammates to show him you ain’t all that if we don’t have your back but next year I feel will definitely be better a rebuild don’t happen over 1-2 years it’s I’m process just near down a keep trucking

The thought of signing and extending CW is🤮 right now. Remind me again the point of resetting the contract clock? What does it matter if now “he’s just a rookie” is going to be used as an excuse? Better roster, worst record.

Of course a JF supporter says Caleb needs to ve humbled when CW has been more than good when his headcoach and OC was fired mid season.

CW has a single TD in the 1st quarter this year over 14 games. ONE! Now look at the 4th quarter. 9 TDs including his comp % and rating both spike in the 4th compared to the others. Only 4 TDs have come in the first half at all. Those came in two games against CAR and JAX. 12 games out of 14 where he doesn’t throw a TD in the first half. But yeah you’re right. Garbage time doesn’t exist. Comebacks 😂😂😂. What a joke
@matress-4-23234 күн бұрын
all anyone needs to know is that he can't even make jokes about punting without people thinking it's serious.

Remember that agents for these coaches are in cahoots with the media to keep their names out there. They're hoping some goofy owner is going to outbid another goofy. This won't stop until all them seats are filled. Vrabel will probably end up with the Giants or Raiders. Two goofy owners who will overpay for a name. I think Vrabel got too much testicles for Bears brass.

Did Caleb need to be humbled? Consider this: the dude straight up declared during an interview that he was the best QB in his draft class by far (notice that he didn't take the opportunity to keep his damned mouth shut and let his play speak for itself). He also said that he could do what Mahommes does, that what he does isn't all that special. He also told the punter that he won't be punting much when he gets there. He also said that there are lots of people who would love to be in his size 12 shoes. He also outright pretended to not notice that Keenan Allen showed up to support him at his USC pro-day, until Allen spoke to him first! It was so obvious that he ignored the guy, because he looked unnaturally past the man. If you look at the video, you could see Caleb coming out of the tunnel, and instead of looking in front of where he was going, he looked way over to the left. Man, I don't care how famous he's going to be, it's something that's basic (respect, humility) that he doesn't have, and it runs me the wrong way. I don't like him. He's the kind of punk ass mf, that I 'd like to punch in the face, based on principal. What kind of example is he giving kids, man?

you say all of that, but he owns an anti bullying company. i think he's just misunderstood. almost every qb in every class has said "i believe i'm the best qb in the draft". everyone wanted to hate him ever since they found out that he paints his nails. there are criminals in the nfl that have done real crimes that get less hate. in my opinion people are uncomfortable that he doesn't fit into the status quo and they have to come up with reasons to not like him to deal with the discomfort. sort of like how you're over analyzing interactions that in reality are not that deep.
@Carlbooze4 күн бұрын
@eyz-4 Well, I had friends, or whom I considered as friends, who painted their nails, so that to me is neither here nor there. But, I don't know, where I grew up, I could sense the vibe that people have off, and his is real funky nose-up, uptown, and unavailable for you if you should happen to catch a bad break. Who would you want on your team, somebody who'd see you as an equal (even if your upbringing was not as advantageous as yours) still a human with feelings, or someone who'd act different (I'm not talking about switching code when you have to) just because they felt far superior to you and what you were able or even struggle to become? That kind of person (Caleb) wouldn't have your back, but would expect that you'd have theirs, based on his advantages and background! No, he gets no pass from me, and if people somehow approve of this kind of behavior from a teammate, family, friend or whatever, then this tells me that as a society we have lost something that made us human, decent!
@matress-4-23234 күн бұрын
you are projecting. anyone can analyze things that deeply and find connections that aren't there. all you are doing is trying to find reasons to not like him. it says more about yourself that you have gone into obsessive detail to convince yourself that he is not a good guy. not only that, but it is creepy too.
@Carlbooze4 күн бұрын
@matress-4-2323 Don't disrespect my opinion. If you don't find anything wrong with his behavior, then fine, but he's a public figure, and thank God that other players don't act like him. Don't try to castigate my character with your creepy analysis of my opinion. You're out of pocket and projecting. I have a right to an opinion, and it says a lot about you that you'd respond so childishly. Be gone!
