Appreciate the shout out Keff! Gave me chills hearing my name from the GOAT himself! The omg flag at game day was an unforgettable experience

I like the idea of TXST to the AAC. We really don't fit in the Sunbelt based on location. Moving to the AAC gives us three in-state rival games to look forward to.

I really hope Texas State joins the new PAC-12.

Great job Keff! We now know that Texas State has turned down the offer from the MWC. The PAC is now reevaluating its worth to the TV people, and probably will make another offer to Memphis and one other school in November. If the American loses schools, then it will want to find replacements. This isn't over yet so Texas State is still in contention for an upgrade. The Sun Belt has a respectable TV deal, BUT people should consider not only the dollars, but also the exposure. One of the things that Oregon State and Washington State have experienced this year is that the ability of their fans to actually watch their games has increased, while the money they are receiving from TV will be decreased. I note that SBC games on Saturday are typically available on ESPN+ or ESPNU, which are less available to fans than the networks, the other CBS, ESPN, Fox and channels like the CW. The AAC has better visibility and I have every reason to expect that the PAC will also come 2026.

Keff, talking about play calling, how does Chad Morris fit into the overall scheme?

The AAC was $7MM/year when they had the now 4 BigXII schools: UCF, Cincinnati, BYU and Houston. Remember, UTSA fan is dumb, so don't quote them. I was embarrassed for them for pretending that the Pac-12 offered them.

More money AND more regionality - the Sunbelts selling point is supposed to be strong old school regionality which is awesome and excellent sporting quality - but that doesn’t apply to us. The sunbelt is regional ball for everyone except Texas State and to top things if we make less money than we might in the AAC

Hear this: If done right the new PAC will incorporate the 2 most football crazy regions in the country: the South and the Mountain west. Memphis and Tulane UTSA (or Texas State) and Rice Utah State and Wyoming South Florida and Southern Miss UConn and Georgia State 16

Guess you didn't hear the part where Memphis, Tulane, UTSA and USF are staying put in the AAC.

They'll come around. They're not tgat dumb.

TXST to the ACC with UNT, UTSA and Rice makes an awful lot of sense.

Why isn’t anyone asking about Ish? Not the type of season we thought he would have.

What’s the stress level going to be if we end up having a good year that someone will come and try and poach or coach? I am anticipating a lot of schools will be firing their current coaches here in the next couple months. Is Kinne Wanting to stay in build Texas state in or something or do you think he will except an offer from a school that will throw a lot of money at him? And lastly, if someone does, will Texas state try and match?
