Just a suggestion, definitely not a complaint!! You might want to always tell folks at the beginning of your video that you’re a retired hands-on landscaper and landscape designer and now a garden center owner. That’s a very impressive resume and definitely makes you credible and believable. Especially for new gardeners they need to know that who they’re listening to knows what they’re talking about. Just my opinion!! 🌹🌸🌺

Hello, I love your channel! I’m a new subscriber as of yesterday when I discovered you. Have you done a video showing how to create a landscape design around a greenhouse in the middle of a lawn? I would LOVE to see that because it’s a problem I’m trying to solve right now. I’m in zone 2, and it gets afternoon dappled shade on one side, full blazing sun on the other all day. It is a simple one-door pentagon shaped greenhouse under 100 square feet. We used the Ana White greenhouse design that is not the barn-style greenhouse but the double slant roof style.

Thank you Michelle! Such great designs! I have 4 crepe Myrtle’s, 2 dwarf, 1 in a starter pot, 😁 and one that reaches 24-30 ft tall in front of my house! I love them, and yes they are a little messy, but it’s worth having because they look stunning when in bloom. 😁 I am trying out various plants in a little round bed I built around our mailbox for the 2nd year. Trying to decide what I like and what looks good. 🤔🤣 Anyhoo, thank you for sharing your enthusiasm and experience! I love your videos, I am learning so much! Have a blessed week! ❤❤

But I'm also older so the body isn't cooperating. Michelle, I love your energy and you are so generous to be sharing multiple designs for all growing conditions.

New viewer here. This is the second one of your videos I'm watching, and it just dawned on me why I appreciate them so much. 1) For the most part, you get right to the point; 2) unlike most other channels that place a small blurb about the plant subject off to the side while they discuss it, you make the plant the main focus and put yourself off to the side (I really, really appreciate that one!); and, 3) you give clear and very thorough info about the plant, the placement, the sun/shade requirements, and the year-round care of it. All in all, great videos...thanks! 💚😊💚

Love your videos Michelle. Am learning so much from you.I am in the south (North MS) and the local nurseries said that Little Quick Fire was one of the best to turn pink before going brown here in the south. I have a hedge of them and this is true! I have a light blue Clematis (can't remember variety), a few Purple Coneflowers and a big clump of what looks like fever few (blooms all summer and fall) at my East facing mailbox.

I have been loving these videos on different designs your doing! ❤A couple of them look very similar to my same choices. I was struggling with my mailbox design this year mostly bc when I first put it in it looked beautiful, most the perennials i guess petered out or just didn’t do well here in KS, zone 6. Our drought plants are even struggling with our severe drought and extreme heat waves we’ve been in. What do you think of blond ambition grass, back in black sedum and chartreuse on the loose catmint? I’m not sure how well the ambition grass will do. I thought about the Karl forester grass but so many are planted down the street at some businesses. I was looking for something different. I also love the lemon squeeze but the chartreuse nepita might be a too much lime. Idk so many choices I love but man it can be hard to choose sometimes. Also, thought of a fun interesting topic is curb appeal designs on sprucing front yards up. I love your design style & knowledge. 😊❤

Loved this video. I am curious as to what size bed this is-approximate length and width? You also mentioned that you can cut the foliage back on the day lily? Can you do this anytime after blooming and foliage will come back? How far down do you cut them back? I had thought you should not cut them back in the summer so I just wonder if I misunderstood. I have several Happy Returns and Stella’s. I get frustrated with the foliage midsummer, the deadheading, and having to divide so frequently. I feel they are a lot of work to keep looking nice.

As a mail carrier we are asking you NOT to plant anything around your mailbox. The majority or at least plenty of us have very decent vehicles we don’t drive LLV. As a rule of the post office you’re not suppose to have anything within 10ft of the box. Just asking as a carrier please don’t do this! Thank you
