Truth and I never saw many or any apologies from media for the terrible things said! It even had celebrities running their mouths and not retracting the terrible things said! I’d find it much more professional to have them come back and apologize outright or say I misspoke and apologize for speaking before I learned all the facts! Princess Catherine put her children first not the media. She was clear in her video she had wanted to wait until the children were on school break before telling them about her diagnoses so she could support them. Princess Catherine is an absolute gem. I admire her so much in every way - a wonderful mother, a loyal and supportive wife, a fashion icon without setting out to be so, a really modest, kind and beautiful soul who takes her role very seriously, a woman whose strength knows no bounds. Since becoming William’s wife and in the past few years in particular in the past few years with H & M, her health and the King’s health problems, she has shown how truly dignified she is by dealing with everything in a way we can admire and emulate in our own lives with the issues that come our way. A wonderful compilation of the year’s events for the Royals! What a year it has been so far! I was invited by the Lord Lieutenant of Oxfordshire to attend a Buckingham Palace Garden Party in 2016 (with my husband) because of the work I had done managing a charity. As someone who was Canadian-born, I had grown up hearing about them, so to be able to attend and see the Queen and Prince Philip, as well as Prince William and Princess Catherine, and Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, was something I will always be proud of. It was a wonderful day for us, and for all those attending, I’m sure! I know you would love it, Jo! Great programme - I’m a fan!❤

In watching the montage of Catherine, you happened to include the photo of the Wales' with their boxes of pizza from a mobile 'Dragon' pizza business. The man behind that business had become friends with William & Catherine & had shared his news about his cancer. I saw just recently 'Aug'24' that he had died & William & Catherine had sent condolences. The family was amazed that the Wales' had learned of the death & taken the time to communicate. Hang in there & keep fighting Catherine, and King Charles. I'm 82, & a survivor of breast cancer & a dozen or so minor skin cancer surgeries.

The medias response to the Mother's Day photo was disgraceful with ridiculous and unkind headlines and comments. From what I saw online in comments the people in huge numbers told them how disgusted we were at their response. I suspect the media have lost a lot of money and will continue to do so now the Prince and Princess of Wales do not give their wonderful family photos to the media, just post them on their own online media outlets directly to the people. They gave a wonderful two fingers up at them all, though not the worse I include the Daily Mail in this attempt to turn a non story into a "crisis". They did this without them having to say a word, the UK is blessed to have the future of the monarchy is such great hands.

I think you did a disservice to the King by not following up the recap of Harry’s ‘mercy dash’ with what we know subsequently…that Harry had other commitments back over the other side of the pond, and was due to give an interview just days later. The little worm never intended to stay more than a few hours and was so obviously on a fact finding mission. Luckily, it seems the King was wise to him and didn’t share private information.

Thank you Jo, I enjoyed this recap and the pictures very much. Can’t believe all that has happened in just the first 7 months of the year. The poor royal family must be absolutely exhausted and feeling shell-shocked. Hope this recap means you journalists are taking the chance for a break yourselves. I appreciate so much the respectful way you all interact, with no shouting or talking over each other, it makes watching very enjoyable. I just don't understand HOW Harry could have ever thought he'd get anything but a guarded welcome from anybody in the family after his Oprah interview and his wretched book?! Did he think every single ugly thing he said would be forgiven because they love him? It's not at all that I think the Firm is the best family ever, or that Charles was the best father ever, but what Harry did is insanely offensive to anybody with a brain.

In fact had Charles not gone to court to prevent the book being published in the UK he could have saved himself a lot of misery. The Highgrove staff hated the way he was pilloried in the press at Dianas hands.

A big blow up in court over his HRH title and demanded he be addressed as such. The Visa judge politely informed him that he lost his HRH status once he left the fold, and further advised him that US courts do not recognize titles, royal or otherwise. Harry grumbled under his breath about the consequences of not acknowledging his royal status. To which the judge responded "you're not acting like a prince." That shut him up. The outcome is unknown but he'd better pray a decision is reached before our November elections. If Trump wins, Harry will be a prince without a home because Trump says he'd be on the 1st plane out of the US.

@@kristinemarler9003Trump says a lot of things that he doesn’t do. That certainly was the case when he was President. Remember when he said he would build a massive wall and Mexico would pay for it? It sounded dramatic, but it didn’t happen, partly because it couldn’t happen. The President of the US has no jurisdiction over what Mexico chooses to do. And the President of the US has lots of limitations on his or her powers. They don’t set the budget, for example. Congress does. So I don’t know if he could do it, or would be strongly advised not to do it, and it sounds waaaay down the list of what he or any President would do on their first day in office. Sounds like a State Department thing to me. And we may never know the details. And just to clarify that I’m not being partisan, Presidents always say things on the campaign trail that they can’t or won’t do.

Megan will be quite happy for the report into her 'alleged' bullying to stay locked away if, as people suspect it proves that staff were bullied! However, she will need to be very careful in future with any 'tell-all' revelations as William is proving that he's got more standing and i suspect he may not be as willing to keep things under wrap as his grandmother and father have been. I suspect that he would also have the backing of the Queen, Princess Anne and the Duchess of Edinburgh.

There is nothing to criticise about Catherine’s dress, she is always appropriately dressed for the occasion-- Meghan never dresses appropriately and those clothes do not fit her body shape and so often are crushed, too long, rarely sophicated even when designer outfits.
