Hard cope. Romero isn't a striker wheras manhoef is a legit kikckboxer, no surprise. Still yoel never looked to be in much trouble on the feet anyway. Yoel could've won the fight on the feet too. His explosiveness along with melvin's cracked chin, all it would take is one good shot. Just like what lawler did. Yoel just chose the easier way and took him down.

I don't think Melvin was 'piecing' him at all. In fact, Big John was commenting on how reserved and careful Melvin was fighting because, for his every action, Yoel's reaction would almost sit him down. No, Melvin wanted nothing to do with engaging on the feet (or anywhere) in a fist fight with Yoel.. Furthermore, Yoel's kicks dropped Melvin a couple times. When Yoel exploded a few times, Melvin was running to the fence.

McCourt by Unanimous Decision? Two judges scored it 30-27? I wanted her to win too, but she clearly did not. She won the first round, she lost the 2nd & 3rd. Giving her all 3 rounds is pitiful. They weren't close enough rounds to justify 30-27.
