Weird fight. Sabatello had more takes downs and ground control vs 90 punches 1 takes down but I guess it is about damage. But then people like Khabib won a lot of fights with take downs and ground control. Mma is tricky sometimes.

Sabatello shouldn't be talking the way he does with a fighting style like that,not that I have anything against wrestling I actually prefer it over striking but this guy is acting like hes murking people when hes just scraping by. Stots isn't much better either and talks a lot of shit as well but really was not trying to end the fight,watch Frank Shamrock v.s Enson Inoue or Tito Ortiz to see how to beat a wrestler and turn up the heat on your opponent.

Lol bruh most people don't even watch wrestling, they will realize the ref breaks it up and resets if there is too much stalling and nut hugging. 50-45 for Sabotello, idk what that ref was smoking. And it's hard to finish a fight when your opponent is afraid to exchange and shoot unsuccessful takedowns damn near every 10 seconds. Stotts isn't a trash talker, Sabotello made him one this particular time.

And these guys are 135 pounders, Tito didn't have the stamina to shoot dozens of takedowns in a fight, or fight with that type of pace, it's not even comparable casual. Sabotello was surviving and nut hugging out there. And I made no excuses for Stotts wtf. My only point is I can tell whenever someone has 0 clue about wrestling because they do not allow stalling either. Stalling and nut hugging is way worse in mma than amateur wrestling. It's hard to KO someone stalling the entire fight, stalling is not real wrestling buddy. Tito never stalled with fights, he tried to take you down and open up in half guard for ground and pound. Not crotch sniff the whole time against the cage.
