Wow. The amount of time I spent customising my paint job for my cars in this game... WAAAY before Forza knocked it out of the ball park. However, getting your car stuck against the side of a hill, whilst in first, on the final lap... kinda sucked! Game badly needed a 'reset car' feature.

I don’t know why, but for some reason some composer put 110% of his soul into this track. I didn’t even play this game that much but I still find myself coming back to this video. This track has survived in my mind for 25 years. Great job to whoever composed this!

Super memorable theme back in the day. I remember being frustrated that I couldn't listen music from emulators, so I kinda forgot about it through the years, until I got an Everdrive in 2017. This was one of the first games I wanted give a try. I'd rent it a bunch of times when the N64 was around.

Aunque siendo honesto el juego en contenido no era tan basto, ese feeling al manejar cualquier auto en el juego era lo más genial que podías sentir tanto con mando o si tenías suerte de tener el volante, a pesar que he jugado actualmente tanto a forza H4, Dirt 4 y 5 y hasta wreckefest no he sentido ese feeling de sentir que cualquier error te echa a perder la carrera, eres tu y el auto solamente.

I actually asked the composer for this game (Barry Leitch) about what his inspiration for creating the game's music was. He said it mostly came from what he thought of on the spot, and what was possible on the N64.

the pal version fit very well with the menu, but this track fit perfectly with the paintshop. btw, that paint system was amazing, still more complete and free than any game made today, even nfs not get close to that, TGR simple was a phothoshop in your car, nothing else is robust and ideal as that.
