It’s probably one of the best parades ever created and wow what a soundtrack the music is absolutely phenomenal it’s what else tunes are you listening for the next five minutes and then it’s stuck in your head for the next five years

here's something you *MIGHT& not know about the parade's soundtrack. up until January 5, 2009, the parade used a soundtrack that had *MOSTLY* 2-beat tempo. I say *MOSTLY* because there *WAS* 1 bar of music with s 3-beat tempo. Choreographers didn't like that from day 1 so when the parade underwent some changes, they switched to the soundtrack that Tokyo is using and added in musical elements for floats not seen in their version. they would have switched sooner but I think thyey have like a 5-year no-compete clause between them and the Domestic parks. the same no compete clause is why it's taking forever and a day for Tron to be built at Magic Kingdom.

This is one they have yet to screw up- seriously even the minor updates fit in beautifuly and dont compromise the integrity or overall show! I am so glad they brought it back.

As it’s happening I was just thinking “Oh they changed it.” Then the reason they changed it is counter intuitive. They brought it back for the nostalgia which doesn’t apply to that crowd.

i agree, it was an iconic moment of my childhood and something i'll always remember but they still pretty much did the rest of the digital intro so it's still almost the same. im just glad they at least kept the same music, i would have had a heart attack if they would have changed it lol!

Do we know what happened to the Dumbo floats? I know they weren't present at the most recent migration to the MK, but just assumed it was a space issue.

The dumbo float was damaged in storage and never repaired. The original Pinocchio float was in the 2016 WDW version but was damaged in transit back to California and wasn't repaired as well.

I enjoyed while noticing the subtle differences to a parade I've enjoyed since 1979. Recording with cell phones is difficult and listening to sound is difficult on a phone or desktop/laptop speakers when the live experience is an overwhelming, 360 degree audio immersion. I've yet to see any video that captures the way the live eye sees this parade but like what I saw enough to go see if it comes to Florida.

The first Pinocchio float was damaged during it's transit from Magic Kingdom 😢 For Tinkerbell, She was moved back with alterations for her float. Because they had nothing to promote it

Despite the return of the Main Street Electrical Parade’s return, I’d love to see STAR WARS parades at the Disney Parks like one for Disney’s Hollywood Studios similar to the STAR WARS weekends parade and a huge and elaborate electrical STAR WARS parade with awesome floats and dozens of STAR WARS characters!

Oh, in this case, it’s because this is the only copy of the parade left under Disney Ownership, so to international proof it, while they were giving it a much needed refurb, they changed it to Small World, like it is in Tokyo. Most people got that part fine.

How come all the colored characters are at the very end? Moana, Aladdin and Jasmine, Coco, Mirabel, Pocahontas, Mulan, Lilo. The only white character was Merida and Anna & Elsa.

There's a lot of dead space in this parade. i do miss the Blue fairy in the lead but Tokyo has the best version of her. I hopes we might see it here

The dead space is there to allow guests to cross the parade route. Disneyland’s parade route literally splits the park into 2 during parades and creates bottlenecks because it only has 2 major crossings. So they need all the time they can get to allow as many guests to cross.

Overall While I Enjoy This It Feels Lacking The New Intro and Finale Are Nice as Well As The 50 Years On The Train But Half Of The Characters Are Gone Like In Alice In Wonderland The Queen The Tweedles And Hatter Are Gone And So Are The Lost Boys and Tinkerbell During The Peter Pan Segment and The Donkey Boys During The Pinocchio Segment The Floats Are Fine But Without The Other Performers The parade Feels Lacking And Slow And I'm Bummed Cause this Is One Of My Favorite Parades But in it's Current state It Feels Like A Cash Grab just To Lure People Back Using Nostalgia
