My daughter was 14 years old when this once played at Disneyland and wdw, now she's 55 and has finally heard this music after 41 years and i was 38 when i travelled with her to both resorts in 1981.

The Mickey’s 60th Birthday is low quality because the barbecue hoedown Christmas version is played very loudly. Meaning that after 2001 after TDLEPD was released. The background instrumental was dropped. #BarbecueHoedown.

I'd say it's incredibly likely. Don was confirmed to have helped out with the D23 panel that this music came from, and the Walt Disney World intro was played for the audience at that panel too. I wouldn't be surprised if both came straight out of Don's personal private archives.

I'm also to young to jave heard it in person as my first time seeing the parade at Disneyland was September of 1990 and this was seen on both coasts during the summer's of 1981 *AND* 1982
