This channel provides so much history for us that we’re not alive to experience it. I’m a resident In Hartford and when I drive around the city I think of we’re all the old buildings were, all thanks to you Dan. BTW I’m still waiting for you to do Old Synagogues of Hartford😉

I would have loved to have experienced old Hartford but I'm way too young. After the Korean War, my father got a job as employee #3 at Fordham Distributors (Miller Beer products) which at the time occupied the old freight depot on Morgan Street. The business was later moved to Locust Road, I think in the mid 70's. I have a vague memory of the old depot when I was very small in the late 60's.
