Is anyone else looking for a version of the Love Story Theme from the movie and can't find it ?? There was a video on youtube titled something like "Theme from Love Story" I think the thumbnail was of the two main characters kissing? Possibly it was black and white.. it was a still image video. THIS VERSION WAS MY LIFE. Literally one of my favorite songs in the world. It has a killer piano that just hit hard in the middle and even distorted just a little. This score was perfect and truly transcendent. I'm afraid maybe UMG took it down after Francis Lai's death. Does anyone know anyone who may have extensive knowledge of Francis Lai's catalogue and could help me identify the version of this song that is now missing from the face of the earth? I'd legitimately pay to hear this song again. Please like this post if you don't know to help reach someone who does. Thanks in advance.

Yessss i have been looking for that specific song version and I think they took it down. I’m so sad that I won’t hear that haunting beautiful version of the song, it made me feel something I can’t explain.. I wish I knew the account. I just want it to appear again.

I remember when this came out.. it was considered a dirty movie by some- I was 13 ...and forbidden to read the book-i did anyway- ...and saw the movie by sneaking in the drive in.. it is a beautiful love story.. not dirty..I learned the piano music .. my dad would sit by my piano and listen with his eyes closed-
