Was soll ich sagen? Beim ersten Mal ansehen habe ich die ganzen Zusammenhänge nicht begriffen. Erst beim 2. oder 3. mal entfaltete der Film seine ganze Wucht. Absolute Klasse. Kann niemals kopiert werden.

I am 80 years old and also have seen many westerns, lots of them many times, Once upon a Time in the West in my opinion is the best western ever made. The music is haunting and beautiful. This movie reminds us that our lives are but just like a grain of sand. We are here but a short time and then we are gone. Once upon a time we were.

개척시대라고 말하던 사실은 약탈의 무법시대 종말을 너무나도 아름다운 영상과 음악으로 완성시킨 서부영화의 완결판이었네요.어렸을땐 이해가 안되던 영화였는데 지금보니 정말 아름다운 영화였네요.
