Grandma Freya was very sweet and cautious, she didn’t want to upset her daughter, Mama Ada. She checked on Ada to see how she was doing, but she didn’t want to overstep. She saw Ada had a lot to do with taking care of her kittens. It was kind of you, to let Grandma Freya get to know 2 of the Kittens, the rest of them were busy being fed by Mama Ada. Grandma Freya wanted to give kitty grandchild a gentle pat, but reconsidered as she realized what a tiny baby kitty it is. Grandma Freya is very intelligent and sensitive, I thought she did very well visiting Ada, and seeing her grandkitties for the first time. Uncle Buster would be very proud of Freya’s good behavior. Well done Freya!❤🎉

It's common in social settings for female cats to share at least some of the kitten raising duties, if both queens are lactating they trade off nursing kittens and if only one is lactating sometimes the mum will just drop her kittens off with the other cat who will just cuddle with and clean them until mum comes back

I think I see some little eyes peeping out. Ada was so calm. Alert but calm. She didn't like the overhead view and it does look a little threatening from that point of view, although Freya meant no harm. And Ada was trusting when you 'borrowed' a couple. And while Ada was feeding, Freya decided to have a lie down and think about it. Before, other cats have headed to the door to leave but Freya didn't leave her daughter alone. Thank you for this beautiful mother/daughter moment.
