I restore and upgrade tackle...found your approach uplifting to do this with what you have at home. Love to hear your logic for why you use a given method. I hope you keep it up. I am looking for input on spinner or blade top coat. I use epoxy but it’s tough to use. Need something that won’t melt in the tackle box or get attacked by plastics.

I use scrotchbrite dremmel attachments to freshen my spoons and spinners up. The old lures are the best. I find the gold slays trout here in ontario

Great idea for a video, and well done. Thanks, bud. I have a old Mepps Musky Killer #5, that has a big white/black mohair skirt. I'd like to keep it intact as a vintage lure, but the skirt has gotten a bit sticky and grimy, from years of being smooshed together with an old soft grub jig body. You know of an effective way to clean the original skirt, without ruining it, or making it have an odor that fish won't like?

On smaller spinners and spoons I use # 6 and 1/4oz spoons I use #4. I sell the replacement packs as well. Thanks!

Congratulations on the videos, I'm Italian and I signed up on your channel. I need a question, I tried to color the mepps palettes but after 2 launches the paint comes off, what am I wrong? I painted with the spray can, then I used the protective clear coat for bodywork, always in spray can. What am I doing wrong?

Chris, I’ve got an emergency and I need your advice! My wife and I are going up to Bangor in a week to visit her brother and his family. They’re total douchebags and we have to stay for the whole weekend. Do you know of any rivers still open within a 20min drive from Bangor? That way I can keep my sanity. Reading through all the special season exemptions in IF&W website isn’t giving me any luck. Not trying to spot burn, just trying to know what rivers are still open around Bangor and your recommendations. Thanks!

I actually don’t. I don’t fish that area. I would look at the stocking report on If&W and cross reference it with the law book to see what’s open. That would be your best chance at getting some fish
