Hey guys, MAINGEAR CEO here.. again :-). Idea for the gold Turbo happened after watching the gold controller video. We're already getting requests to purchase this gold Turbo, and frankly, it's probably not going to become a limited production Turbo. This was more of a prototype or experiment. Gold plating simply exposes every imperfection, and the inner panels just don't look as good as we'd like it to. Perhaps we'll sell it if we ever get the the plating to the point where we're happy.. but who knows! Just thought LTT crew would enjoy so we did it! Also, some quick insight into this configuration. We actually engineered a new APEX block specifically to make room for a thicker 280mm radiator, to ensure the 3090 and 5950x would deliver their full performance. It definitely pushes the boundaries of performance in a small for factor PC. For the record, there are only two units in existence.. It doesn't matter what the temps are, because it's not going to be sold, it hasn't been built and optimized like a product going into production would be. The temps are inconsequential.

It is pretty low, but as long as the loop flows as it should be, it won't effect the cooling capability of the loop significantly. I will reduce the thermal capacity of the loop, but not the cooling capability.
