I did mis state in the video. I said 3/10ths of a MPH when I ment to say 3/10ths of a second when relaying the info that Ricky Gadson shared with me about the kind of numbers he was seeing when he ran the 2012 in Vegas compared to the previous year when he ran a 2011 in Vegas. Ricky shared that the new bike was doing 5 MPH faster and 3/10ths of a second faster. The ZX14 should get 35 to 40 miles to the gallon depending on how you drive the bike.

I agree, a naked ZX14R would be a cool bike. Unfortunately naked bikes, street fighters and models with out full fairings have not traditionally sold well here in the USA. Anybody remember the Suzuki B-King? It was only offered here for one year I believe. The current Kawasaki Z1000 is one of the best street fighters ever made and has won lots of critical awards too. great vid shows the dif from previous zx14 except increase in torque and power , but got that on other vids. I've got a 2010 bought new now starting to put after market equipment on. Just ordered two brothers 4-2-1 exhaust, juice box, and air filters. Bought the full system as it will make it easier to get at chain, as I oil every 1,000 ks Aso waiting for new fairing from china hope it fits, had good feed back from friends that they do. But i'll wait and see. Will post vid on how it all goes.

*i want one with there 300hp ultra watercraft engine in it,the 12 zx14 has right at 200hp ,another 100 hp would be a kick in the ass im thinking,the engine is almost the same minus trans,adding a supercharger would give it the low end grunt everyone is looking for ,although a well set up turbo would be better im thinking

I own a 2012 zx1400, the bike is and comfortable, however I'm looking to go with harley street glide because I'm getting a little older, long rides on the bike bothers my back.

Also they should have put cruise control, as on mine my right hand gets pins and needles after two hours riding from vibration through handle bars.

The exhaust is horrific and heavy. If you remove that junk and add on some Coffman Shorties you will loose over 40 lbs and slow speed handling improves greatly. Those factory cans really add a lot of unnecessary top weight

Need a Supercharge this line 124 of torque 324 horsepower 7 speed transmission and dial in ECM for power or retard power . No turbo to much plumbing make this the best of the best sport bike ever.
