Hardly how to fish in weed, finds clear spot then just advertises mainline 4 5kg bags of boilies £200, 5kg of pellet £20 oil n smart liquid another £20,whole video is an advert to sell bait
@MainlineBaitsCarpFishingTV
@MainlineBaitsCarpFishingTV 2 жыл бұрын
Hi Stuart, sorry you feel this way, Spoons didn't actually use all that bait, and took most of it home (air-dried) for his next session. The water does not allow any particle either - hence a heavy use of boilies and pellets. Most of the pellet was also the 'house' pellet that the fishery sell to members at cost (something like £1.25 a kilo). All in all Spoons use 1-2 buckets of bait over three nights (we have another video from this session to come) while catching well, which I don't think is too silly?! Anyway thanks for watching and appreciate your comment.

Abit late but you can get 20kg of pigeon feed for about 22 to 25 pound and after its soaked and cooked you get alot more just add some condensed milk and whatever else you want alot cheaper than boilies and pellets i usually freeze left over maggots and add them to the mix really good to get the fish grazing

So just to confirm, weed tip 1 find a spot with no weed… cheers for that 👍🏻
@MainlineBaitsCarpFishingTV
@MainlineBaitsCarpFishingTV 2 жыл бұрын
Um... no, Tip 1 was use a lead to investigate the lakebed, making sure to feel the lead down on a tight line - ideally with braid so zero stretch in the line. Then... use a pointed lead just to check how clean that area actually is. After that you can clip up and fish accurately to or over weed beds. So HOW to find a spot.

Tight line or slack line if ur in the weed ?
@MainlineBaitsCarpFishingTV
@MainlineBaitsCarpFishingTV 4 ай бұрын
In many cases a slack is actually difficult to achieve in weed - a semi tight or tight line is preferred for better bite indication and therefor being on the rod and in contact with the fish more quickly when its going to make its best attempt to bury in weed.
