Can you guys please put 'compilation' or something in the title of these. This is like the 3rd one I've clicked on without realizing it would be multiple topics and then being mildly annoyed that it was multiple topics.

11:47 I know that it is wrong to judge somebody purely based off of appearance, but when it comes to dating, if you aren’t attracted to somebody then there’s no shame in that. I know I wouldn’t go on a date with somebody obese. It’s not that I’m a bad person It’s just I prefer somebody who is healthy and can take care of themselves.

The self harm one reminds me of something that happened to my friend. She had a habit of scratching her wrists with a little plastic thing that people floss their teeth with. Now she did have issues, many issues, but I knew she shouldn't be doing that. I just really didn't know what to say. Now I should mention that a lot of my high school friends saw my Mom as a Mom they could have considering how caring my Mom was to my friends, some even called her Mom every once and while (Mom never minded). This friend was no different as her real Mom was a piece of crap so to her it was nice to have an actual Mom that actually cared about her. Well one time, she actually showed my Mom the scratches she had made on her wrists. My Mom took one look at the scratches and flat out told her to stop it. That she didn't need to be doing that and to not do it again. My friend never did it again and never brought it up again.

20:36 I can totally relate … I think it's because of the way my mind is wired; there is always the noise of my thoughts in my head both consciously and subconsciously. I've been diagnosed with OCD so this makes sense. Anyway … The few experiences I've had with the substance spoken of at the aforementioned timestamp have always un-nerved me… It took me a while to realize why. The best way I can describe/understand why it was always so unsettling is that it turned off the subconscious background noise in my head, leaving me in silence with my conscious thoughts echoing off the walls of my subconscious … That, combined with the duration of effect, I understand why they call it "tripping." Although, I did always enjoy the "after glow" (as my friends called it.)

I worked at Publix where "the customer is always right." It was a super busy day because of a game on TV. Smart people called the night before to place orders. At the time we weren't cooking to order. You either had to have called in an order or placed them online. A lady came in just had to have her order right then. After explaining it simply wasn't possible, she played the race card. The manager on duty said we would get her order right away. Then complained that the rest of the orders were now behind. I never wanted to beat someone so badly in my life.

This happened yesterday Im a cart pusher at walmart. It was late at night, about 10:4X, and i had just walked out with the cart master to tidy the lot up. I had completely cleared it not half an hour, before. I was on my way back with a full line of carts and a grey honda hatchback (dunno the exact model) sped backwards at FULL SPEED towards me, stops within 2 inches of me, speeds back AGAIN juuust enough to tap my cart (i cant reverse in time even if i tried) only to rev their engine TWICE and speed off I reported it to my team lead immediately. I didnt get a plate number but it was caught on camera so if they try to get insurance or smth theyre getting into BIG trouble.

I have a few. I was on registers (they had me going to different post almost hourly at that job, but a cashier called out) this pregnant lady who was well over6 months pregnant came in with her toddler. I guess she didn’t think she needed a shopping cart or bag, her toddler was running around the store which none of us minded, it was a baby store anyway. She went to stand on line with her toddler, 2 boxes of diapers, a box of wipe (boxes of wipes are very heavy) and some clothing I’m guessing for the little one in her belly. A lady decided that she was too good to stand in line, she had an outfit and was standing to the side, with a big smile I called the next customer. The lady off to the side proceeded to walk towards my register and put the outfit down. I said “excuse me, but there was a line, and the next guest was waiting for about 10 mins to get called” she said “how rude are you? I’m a paying customer spending all of this money on an outfit and you’re screaming at me?” I said “I’m not screaming, I’m just trying to inform you that this lady was here before you and since she has a lot and is very pregnant, how about we let her go first” the lady screamed at me again, said I was wasting her time. She also said “why are you causing a scene?” Then she yelled at me to get my manager, I called a supervisor since my manager was on lunch. My supervisor had me ring her up $3.90 was her total since the item was clearance. She told my supervisor that she might return it later if the person don’t want it, my supervisor told her that since it’s on clearance, the computer won’t let a return happen. She screamed at my supervisor and said “I don’t know why she got me someone that don’t even know how to do their job! GET ME THE FING MANAGER!” So we called him up, she explained to my manager what was going on in her own words, screamed at my manager when he informed her that both of us was right, about the waiting in line and her not being able to return the item. When she took a break from screaming I said “well, look who’s causing a scene now” I was on “ship from store” duty the rest of the day because my boss said I needed a break from the customers and that I was hilarious and that this was the first time he seen me get upset with a customer. I LOVE SHIP FROM STORE! It’s the best job there! Or what about the time a customer demanded we wrap the 7 huge presents. We were always busy and the line was almost out the door which is saying something because the store is huge, had to be about 50 people on line with only 4 registers opened, I was on 1. The guy came up to me and told me to wrap his presents. I told him it’s a self wrapping station and everything he see there is provided to him for free except for the back wall, he would have to pay for that. He screamed at me to get the manager, I told him the manager was on break “oh, he’s going to want to speak to me!” So I called the manager up. He came up and the man was basically screaming how the assistant manager told him he had to wrap his own gift and how I wouldn’t wrap his gift either. He also said that every time he comes in, someone always offers to help him. I told him, sometimes we help people wrap, but if the store is crowded like today. You would have to wait, or wrap your own. (This is true, I usually help because it’s slow and I’m bored” My manager looked at me and said “do you mind wrapping his present?” So we all went to the station that clearly says “self wrapping” and I started wrapping the presents my boss felt uncomfortable leaving me alone with the guy (my boss was also scared of my brother, my brother trained him for this position in a different store, and even though my brother is a sweetheart, his weight and height scares a lot of people) so while I was wrapping this guys 7 huge gifts he kept saying “yea, that’s right! This is what they trained you to do, your so good at that! look at how good you look wrapping my stuff for me” I said “I learned to wrap gifts when I was 10 so that I can get my family wrapped Christmas presents, the store never teaches us how to wrap, we only get paid $9 an hour” my boss was disgusted at the way the guy was talking to me. Then a lady came to the self wrapping station and the guy says “give her a few minutes, she’ll wrap your stuff to! She’s such a good girl” 🤮 I was 27 at the time and felt disgusting. My boss said “can you please stop talking to her like that, and stop telling customers that we’ll wrap their gifts, our staff don’t get paid for it and it takes away from the task they are suppose to do” he said “you should promote her to assistant manager. She looks way better than that cow that you have and plus, I want her to always wrap my stuff, she can touch whatever is mine” 🤢 my boss told me to take a 45 min paid lunch after the line died down so that I can recalibrate. 😂😂😂😂 Or what about the time a lady ran out of the store with a $1500 stroller and loss prevention just stood there and watched. Or the time 7 employees walked out in handcuffs from stealing?

Some time last year a customer came into our work and I had to serve him at the counter as usual since I was the only store assistant (people with counter access) at the time. He tried to hit on me and convince me to head to his house after work, and wouldn't leave even after I finished his stuff for about 5 whole minutes. He made it all go so slow the whole thing took about 10 minutes for him to buy a few packs of meat. He was old enough to be my grandad. I was sixteen and looked fourteen.

Something my friend and I did that we never spoke about again. I was staying over at her house and we had chicken wings for dinner. My friend thought it would be fun if we took the bones down her street and throw them at cars. We were eight. She and one of our other friends had apparently done this before. I clearly misunderstood what we were doing. I was the first one to throw a bone. Into the side door of a ford truck. My friend hit the deck and hid. I did not understand that ‘throwing the bones at cars’ meant that we were meant to throw them behind the cars as they drove by. The driver whose car I hit chewed me out and I started crying. He got in his car and drove off after that. We took the bones and walked back to my friend’s house. It’s been over a decade. We’ve never spoken of it.
