I have to cut around a lot of rocks, mainly granite, paving, chain link fence, trees etc. I use a lot of line and it' a steep block of land, 1 acre. I reckon it would be new blades every time. Cheers

We just tested a new trimmer attachment and I truly have never seen a better attachment for chain link fences, and delicate plants. Check it out on our channel, it's called the edgit pro.

I love the sound of engines. 2 stroke or 4 remove the exhaust screen and let it eat Bo 🤙

Absolutely. Rockin with the professional series of Husqvarna and Stihl. At 10,000rpm it's music to the ears and absolute unstoppability that anything green and growing fears.

This could possibly be the poor mans rotary scissors. I would love to see it used for edging.

I too would like to see how this does edging concrete sidewalks. I bet it won't last very long. I appreciate the video though guys, keep up the good work.
@mainstreetmower3 ай бұрын
@@Altamahacat Honestly after trying to edge with it briefly next to the chain link fence, I realised that it definitely wasn't made for that. That is one drawback of this product but apart from that I thought it was pretty solid.

Great video I am loving that trimmer head and I like that you gave it that 1.2 weed test and the brush test as that is what many of us have to deal with wild grass and brush. This trimmer head looks like just what I need! my question is this is it universal fitting to all brands of battery string trimmers I happen to have that yellow brand in a 40 volt so is it fitting with all or some brands of trimmers?

Thanks for watching, unfortunately this head will only fit on a STIHL brand trimmer

@@mainstreetmower But the real question is can it be made to fit other trimmers?
@shawndubay4050Ай бұрын
Sounds like a drone on the noise test with the blade head. Would be good for mowing ,clearing tall grass weeds with a gas engine as long as your not cutting woody materials. If you hit something hard at high rpm the blades will self destroy. Definitely would not last long edging and would not even think about brush cutting. That is what a metal blade is for.

This is a great product it will definitively last longer than string but it is universal in fitting other brands of string trimmers.. I need this if its universal do you have a link how do I get one?

Chain link is an absolute pain in the arse!😡
@shawndubay40503 ай бұрын
Absolutely. That's why I run .105 razor core string and very careful with the throttle. I feel your pain though. I have a customer that has a chain link fence around his big back yard. I tend to go real short right at the base of the chain link so I can hit it every second mow. I run the professional series Stihl and Husqvarna trimmers. Lots of power and the .105 Husqvarna razor core string is by far the most rugged and fierce stuff that I have run in my equipment to this day. Soak the string in a five gallon bucket for an hour before using it to give it more flexibility and let it rip. I run chain link fence with my trimmer head angled at 45°so I don't destroy/burn too much.
