This video describes the maintenance steps for a VEOX PMO mixproof valve, with two independent plugs, with no loss of product on opening. The Definox VEOX PMO valve complies with recommendations 3A (85-03) in accordance with the health requirements for dairy products. These standards cover the sanitary aspects of mixproof valves with double plugs. It is installed on processing lines for dairy and other food products. This valve incorporates a physical barrier between two channels. This technology makes any leaks visible and allows two different liquids to flow through the valve without the risk of cross-contamination, even when the plugs are flapping. The independent lifting of the plugs allows the valve to be cleaned completely (seals, seal seats and leakage chamber). The video lists the tools needed to work on the valve in complete safety.
