Timebomb in S2E7, on the other hand, had such a perfect romance I cried numerous times and I've never cried at anything prior and I've seen some depressing films and TV. Evidently in the original cut they had like twice as long of a love scene, but the Ratings Board or whatever had a moral panic and said _No! Too much gratuitous gay, you have to cut that down or get slapped with a "Mature Audiences Only" rating!_ So they had to cut out half of the juiciest stuff. And apparently it's not even completely deleted - the footage is just "sitting on some French guy's hard drive" according to an interview, and (hopefully) awaiting some kind of Director's Cut release.

And even completely aside from the age-appropriateness issue, it would have just been in bad taste anyway. Their whole what-if story was very heartfelt and bittersweet - I think it was perfect, and served the purpose of re-awakening Ekko's desire to fix his own Powder/Jinx and save everyone in his own tragically broken world as a hero.

I watched this show and probably one of the reasons of why affected me so much was because I’m the older sister, and since the start I wanted both Jinx and Vi to have a happy ending. Jinx faked her death and gave Vi the ‘blessing’ so she could live her happy life with Caitlyn 😭 then ran away to break the cycle, I think both Vi and Cait know that she escaped and I think that’s why Vi didn’t look so sad in the last scene, I like to think that someday I hope they’ll meet again 😔 great edit!! “I’m with you sis, even if we’re worlds apart” that proves me that they love each other, both Jinx and Powder sacrificed themselves for Vi. And if they’re mean to be together or not they’re still going to be and love with each other doesn’t matter where they are or if they’re from different worlds. I loved the detail that the start of the series was powder singing the lyrics of song of her mother, and the end was Vi singing the melody of the same song.

I think Vi looked extremely sad in the last scene. She just doesn't express it the same way we see other characters show it. She was not their mentally at all. That is why Cait asks "Are you still in this fight Violet?", because she knows Vi might give up anytime... Although I'm glad she did get some time to heal so it has been probably weeks or months since the Jinx disappearance...

Caitlyn knows or at least suspects it, that's why we got the shot of her looking through the old air vents schematics. Either she's not going to tell Vi respecting and understanding Jinx's decision to leave giving Vi a chance with a proper life with Cait, or Cait is just waiting to investigate and confirm this with some proof before informing Vi. Cuz yeah like everyone said Vi won't stop chasing after Jinx ever, and her only shot at a life lived for herself and not others is by Jinx faking her death to essentially give Vi the permission to think of her needs for the first time in her life.

There are people debating who's better and who deserves a happy ending. Personally both couple's deserve happy endings, the only thing that saddens me that Vi and Jinx can't have that ending in the same universe without one dying. Ending was fair for both sides they got their endings even if it's in diffrent universes. Maybe in another universe Jinx and Vi can be the sister's they once were, but all we know is that they can never be happy and was doomed from the beginning. Jinx knew Vi wouldn't give up on her and the only way was her being gone so Vi won't live consumed with guilt. Vi is the person I like and relate the most especially if your the oldest and have a younger sister , Vi puts her loved ones first rather than herself, she's not willing to give up on Jinx. Btw Beautiful edit! I still wonder what about caitlyn in the universe, could she be with Maddie? I can't imagine cait not having someone call her cupcake:/

Sometimes I wonder what this thing between Cat and Vi was, I mean... it seemed so fanfic, Fan Service or interest, for example, when Maddie existed in Cat's life we even saw a little bit of something "oh deyum" but not so much, then when they separate Cat is left alone wanting Vi who seems like she only got together with Vi to go after Jinx, so much so that she was willing to kill Isha if necessary in that shot to Jinx's finger and what drives me the craziest is knowing that the scene with Vi and Cat was cut because there is a full version and the fans even made a petition to release the full version on some website.
