This is an amazing creepypasta. It was very emotional and I felt care/sympathy for the characters within the story, and the way you told the story made this even better. I partially wish for a sequel, but maybe some things are best left alone, such as this beautiful story; it had a great amount of realism but a mixture of fiction that made the story easy to understand and grow fond of. Phenomenal job as usual, CreepsMcPasta and also a job well done to the author of this amazing story. Well done. 👍

A well-written pasta that makes the reader (or listener, as it were) want more. That being said, there were a few things about this story that didn't make much sense: 1) No one has a three-year class reunion. Most schools start them after the first ten years. Unless it was something put together independently by a group of students, but why would they feel this necessary? 2) Daniel mentions that his second conversation with Maisie happened on the last day of the term, in summer. He actually says that school got out a day early. Then, after the night in Daniel's bedroom, they spend several MORE weeks in school before the summer holidays begin. He actually says: "We finished school without ever speaking again. On the last day, I slipped my number into her locker, in case she ever wanted to get in touch." What kind of school lets out twice for summer holidays within a single year and holds three-year class reunions? 3) When Maisie and David leave the movies, their behavior is erratic. She begs David to take her home "Now, please" after he describes the naked man in the trees. This urgency to return home is forgotten when David randomly stops the car for some fresh air. He suggests that she join him and-- inexplicably-- she does! Why would you just randomly stop for a bit of air when someone clearly has expressed an urgent need to get home? And if you want so badly to get home, why would you not insist upon it? Make it clear that climbing out of the car in the middle of nowhere isn't what you asked him to do. The author explains away this behavior by stating: "Perhaps it was the pleasant view before us, or the fresh air, or perhaps it was the excitement of being out at night - whatever it was, something made her forget whatever had frightened her." I'm sorry, but if I was being stalked by an incubus (most likely what it was) that first attached itself to me after I went playing in the woods, I don't think being on a dark country road bordered on one side by "thick woods" would put me at ease. Not at all. Especially considering Daniel had described seeing it nearby only minutes before.

If you think about it, since she was very distant from everyone including her father... her father explained that he acted like a gentleman. He was a gentleman at 3 different places... the cinema, the place overlooking the field, and at his house where he let her sleep in his bed... the “demon” was in 3 different places. It would make sense that maisie was scared of something that followed her everywhere because maybe that something was her father who as the narrator explained looked very skinny, the demon was also lean as if he hadnt eaten... just food for thought
3 жыл бұрын
It would explain why she got angry at the movie with possession, her dad is possessed and has been doing horrible things to her and she knows she cannot do anything since he is now a demon, the clothes being gone is because demon dad took her away, maybe to hell or just threatened to kill the boy and maisie loved him so much she went willingly to save him from a horrible fate..

So does anybody have a theory about who took the picture of Maisie and why? I'm really said there is no part 2 because I really wanna know what happened to her, why her clothes were inside that house and who took the picture
@misterlamprey77776 жыл бұрын
i think the naked guy took it, or maybe Maisie did. i think that they are the same "species" now (maisie and the naked guy). it seems like such an odd detail to say that the clothes were neatly folded in the cottage without it meaning something, which leads me to believe that maisie became the same sort of creature as the naked man. it would also explain why nobody has seen her, since the creatures reside in that haunted forest. the reason for stealing the picture could potentially be that the maisie/ the naked man didnt want maisie to be remembered, or maybe since the main character saw the naked man its a warning sign that hes going to be next.

I can honestly say that this is my favorite creepypasta, I don't usually ever listen to a creepypasta more than once and I have listened to this one more times than I can count. @cormacb23266 жыл бұрын
Giving to much information about the monster makes it less scary, its best to only give the bare minimum, too keep the reader guessing. The reason behind this is that keeping the reader in the dark about the monsters true abilities and weaknesses stops the reader from knowing when/where the monster will strike and how to stop it. This can give the reader a sense of paranoia and powerlessness, after all, knowledge is power. Also, no, I haven't seen "How I met you Mother", infact, I don't think I've ever heard of it.

I really enjoyed this story, my only problem was the ending which was unsatisfyingly vague. I wanted a forgiving end or even a bigger cliff hanging ending. I would of added to the last few paragraphs of this story that Maisie had somehow volunteeringly turned into one of those naked stalker things from the fact that her clothes were found in the cottage in Scotland. I wanted the Daniel to somehow come across the naked man but now, erringly with another tall, naked female figure alongside him, ending the story with an answer. (Her description of having a tall figure and fast speed kind of were alike with the stalker’s)

Awesome. I really enjoyed the fact that they were legitimate friends or at least that if there was a crush from the protagonist towards Maisie it remained unspoke. I like to think that it was here that took her photo from him in the end, and she's still alive and did so in order to fully vanish, not to involve her demon with the main character any further.

I’ve been meaning to listen to this for years. Good story, but I was disappointed that I figured it out by the movie theater scene.

There should be a prequel story ab Maisie and what happened in the woods when she was 13 and it should be based on her point of view leading up to the events in this story that would give us some closure as to what happened great story tho

Man, when he brought up Maisie to her father. His statement about The Almighty brought a small tear to my eye, then taking him to the church. God is what keeps us going thru the harshest of events. And on a different note, my mother is from a town outside of Mancheste, England.. and after solely catching up on your narrations, have gotten stuck with a proper English accent. :D yay for Musical Ear "Syndrome" lol

As a lifelong musician, whenever I've been asked about songwriting, I would tell whomever was asking, that when you write something, if you can't make someone feel the emotional place you were in when you wrote it, you've missed the mark. This story does just that. It pulls you into the emotional rollercoaster and keeps you there until the end...

This is a great creepypasta it doesn't have a stupid turnaround plot or a point where it gets overly violent/dumb it just relies on fear and emotion to work the ending is very sad but it works

Why would you "stop for fresh air" after the girl you're with insists that she needs to get home immediately? You're in a car. Open the window for some fresh air.

I saw a man, who was stark naked. "Ok, he's homeless." And pale. "And American." The only explanation I had was that he escaped from a mental hospital. "HOMELESS"
