I had to write to say God bless you for the outstanding video tutorials you produce! I have watched a lot of tutorials to make items, but yours are the best ones by 100%. They are totally fail-proof resulting in a perfectly finished project no matter the item. I am making the baby sweater now and will also make the booties worry-free because I know they will turn out perfect. You have an extraordinary ability/skill to teach/demonstrate and I feel so blessed to have discovered your channel. I am 70+ and only dabbled in crocheting in my youth, but now want to become an experienced seasoned crocheter and your tutorials will help me achieve that. I cannot thank you enough for creating such a marvelous channel to help others achieve their crocheting goals!❤

My grandma taught me one basic stitch when I was a kid, so I could make a scarf, since then (15 years) I havent crocheted anything 🥴 So yeah I'd say I'm a beginner, and this was my FIRST thing I ever did I don't have that much free time during the day so it took me 4 days, but if you can have two free days for yourself I'm pretty sure that's enough, maybe even one whole day if you're up for it 😁

Your tutorials are so helpful. Thank you for the close-ups, going slowly, and explainin explicitly where the hook should be inserted. It would be helpful for beginners and almost-beginners if you would show how you make the last stitch in each row. (EDIT: I see in later rows you do show that; thanks!) I'm not really a beginner but if I have trouble with a pattern, it's usually at the end and beginning of rows or rounds. That said, you are so much easier to follow than many on YT. You have a gift for teaching crochet. I plan to make the matching booties and hat, and on those you show how to end the rounds as well as how to begin the next one. I know these are simple rows, but... LOL God bless!

Thank you very much for the very clear step by step instructions for crocheting a baby cardigan. I am a beginner and slow learner. I just have one question. How do we adjust the number of beginning chain stitches for babies of slightly bigger size such as chest of 10.5 inches, sleeve of 6.5 inches and underarm to hem of 7 inches. Or do we always start with 57 stitches in the foundation chain? Thanks again for your tutorial especially for the very beginners.

I really enjoy following your video, however I seem to have done something wrong. I've followed your rows, and on every DC row, my ratio of 1 DC in a stitch to 2 DC in a stitch comes out right on the row. However, even though my work measures longer than yours, I don't seem to have enough stitches. I'm ready to do the arm holes, but I don't have nearly the number of stitches you do. I wish I knew what I did wrong. 😞 I've converted what I have according to the ratio of stitches to skipped stitches, and I'm going to continue on and see what happens because, regardless of this confusion, it's really beautiful! Thanks for making your video so clear, especially being able to see where you're putting your hook.

It only took me about 2 weeks to complete because I had to keep starting over. 😳I need a video on how to count the stitches CORRECTLY! Also, when I would chain at the beginning of a row and turn my work, my chain no longer looked like a chain so I had a difficult time doing the slip stitch into it. Any helpful hints? Btw…my cardigan actually looks very nice! Thanks so much!

I started crocheting the cardigan using a size 5 mm hook. It's coming out very nice, but is much larger than the one you are doing . Have you used a 5 mm hook on a cardigan? and if so what size would it fit? it's measuring 10 inches across the chest and 12 inches in length. I haven't started the sleeves yet. Thank you, Amanda.

Thanks for giving such a detailed tutorial. It really helps to see each stitch in detail, especially at the beginning and ends of rows which is where I tend to make mistakes

I agree that you are very clear. I have the problem that I followed you row by row but mine did not turn out right and I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong. Are you able to help me if I send a photo please ?

I have some yarn I'd like to finish but it is 2 balls of 50g each, different colours. How would you recommend splitting them? Should I do body in one colour and sleeves in another and would there be enough yarn? Or just go down in my first colour until a particular point and then swap? I'm not terribly experienced but have crocheted quite a bit. Many thanks.

Great tutorial but check the slant on the left side yoke at 34:28 It looks odd. I think it's because the increase was only made on even rows with the last stitch of those rows having the 2 DC at the end

Your video and cardigans are beautiful. The yarn I would like to use is a medium weight yarn and I would like to make for about 6-9 months. Do you think if I used the 5ml hook I would accomplish the approximate size? Thank you for your beautiful work

Merci pour votre excellente explication. J'aimerais bien exécuter ce cardigan pour l'âge de 12 à 15 mois utilisant un fil de 250m.pour 100g. Ma question est qu'est-ce que je dois faire pour le réaliser. Merci

Hi. I’ve crocheted this lovely cardigan several times. I am trying to do one for a 1 year old but it’s either too small Or too big. I think need a pattern of different size. Can you recommend size of wool, hook and stitch number? I would be ever so grateful x

I love your tutorials and have learned how to crochet by making this baby set. Your instructions are so clear and easy to follow. Any chance you could adapt this pattern to include toddler sizes? Say for a 1 or 2 year old? I’ve made this set as a baby gift and my friend loves it. I want to keep making clothes for her child
