Maison Fauve Zenith Dress

Welcome to the third and final video in the ‘current’ wedding series! Hannah and Michael are hoping that they will be able to have a blessing and the bigger reception they planned sometime in the future. Who knows when that will be and what sewing that will entail!
In this video I’m taking you along as I make my Zenith dress. I have to say that I am extremely impressed with Maison Fauve. The instructions (in English) were excellent and there are youtube tutorials too which have English subtitles. The pieces fit together like a glove. The only comment I would make is that it is necessary to check the ease as this is not mentioned in the instructions. I also made the dress with slightly more ease than I needed as I wanted to feel comfortable during the day.
I was SO HAPPY with the results.
The fabric was from Atelier Brunette direct from their Paris store. I few months ago I discovered how easy it was to access their full store from here in the UK and the postage isn’t too high either, its worth it for the choice! I find the advantage of buying from them is that I can access all the co-ordinating haberdashery.
I do hope you enjoy this vlog. I’ve spent more time editing it, adding in photos and music. Getting to grips with all the technology options is certainly taking some time, but I feel proud of myself.
