@the perfume guy certainly a few moments here reminded me slightly of YSL’s Live Jazz, but by no means is it by any stretch of the imagination identical - still not 100% certain on this one, but must agree this is certainly a step in the right direction following the previous Cologne Fortes and 724 (which to me is far and away from the perfection that was 754)

I don't smell people wearing any type of fragrances these days. Most people these days only smell like skin and unwashed hair and that's a fact. Our fragrance community is very very small.

I wore this fragrance today in the Texas summer heat and it smelled awesome. My wife loved it on my skin. I had a nice scent bubble for about 5-6 hours. This fragrance is not your typical green fragrance. If you are looking for a fresh fragrance with uniqueness, depth and character, this is it.

I tested this yesterday at my local Nordstrom here in beautiful Silicon Valley. The opening is pleasant, but longevity is poor. I had to dig my nose in my forearm to smell it after an hour or so. The drydown is similar to Cartier Declaration Haute Fraicheur. I love this house, but they need to come up with a “show stopper and head turner” new fragrance.

Pleasant surprise given I’ve started to give up on new exciting releases from this house. Was able to try this in NM (downtown S.F.) and am quite intrigued by the green fennel/musky notes. Trying out sample this week to decide if the dry down (juice) is worth the squeeze.

Live in Canada, so this really is a scent for the late spring/summer for me. I’ve considered layering this with aqua universalis - I think the two scents can compliment each other.

Loved the opening of this one - very herbal, but the drydown only took 15 minutes to appear and then by the time I left the store, the scent was non existent. Would have to bathe in this stuff. Drydown was just meh. Great review though!

I'm sad that I can't get MFK Aqua Vitae Forte anymore. It's my favorite so far in my short fragrance journey. Universalis forte is close second. The cologne collection is underwhelming, yes. If they sell, it's probably the "new stuff" effects. When I tried the cologne collection, I thought I picked up a wrong brand. It smells like the fictional MMM Replica Cost Cutting in Bottle, because if you want to bottle the smell of cost cutting in fragrance design, it's probably that. This new one I gonna try a tester. I'm not expecting much. I mean, I look at the world GDP in consumption sector and I kinda understand why they'd not doing the designer thing, even when it the right thing for the brand. Being right too quickly is being wrong after all.

I've sampled this one in Bellevue, WA. The top note has the MFK DNA found in masculin pluriel, and Gentle Fluidity Silver: a clean smell. It's a freshy fragrance (I don't get tea notes on paper), and the drydown sweetness is somewhere between MFK 724 and MFK Petit Matin.
