Love Satin Mood. Very sophisticated and complex. Definitely a fragrance for a very confident woman (or man). It’s considered unisex, but the thick, sweet, powdery rose and vanilla seem so much more feminine to me, though I can imagine a dark, mysterious, well-dressed man wearing this too. 💋

I have Silk Mood and it’s the only fragrance I own where a woman has ran after me in town asking what I’m wearing. That says it all.

Such a good review! Thank u so much! ❤ I smelled both of them... I imidiately loved Oud Satin Mood. I kept smelling my arm all day. It's good oud frag to start with cos it's gentle on oud. And Oud Silk Mood is completely diffefent but also nice, elegant, down to earth, mature... both very rich, luxurious smelling as u said 💸💰

My sister works for Givaudan which supplies fragrance to major design houses and I know from her how hard it is to be a "nose", much less to be able to convey a scent in words! omg... Just got the samples to day and i am really stunned 😳 they are not from this world. I was in the parfumerie so many times and tried so many perfumes but nothing even compares to the MFKs Oud series... maybe Tom Ford Oud Wood but its different.

Such a great comparison video! I've tried both and Oud Satin Mood was way too sweet, in a way heavy and bit cloying to me so I personally prefer Oud Silk Mood way more. Either not full bottle worthy to me though :)

Very good explanation.I had 2 small samples,one of each and now Im obsessed with silk mood, I dont enjoy the sweetness of the rose from the satin one. Im not sure if I want a full bottle like you said, I think I will get a decant though to see how it fits me. Great video!

I love oud satin mood! I totally get what you mean by the tanginess. That comes from the Violet accord in it. It gives it a sour/tart feel. It awakens your senses quite a bit haha. When it combined with the other notes it reminds me of tea in a way

@@SallyMarion for sure. Yeah I’m learning what a lot of different notes smell like. If you know Dior Fahrenheit violet is the main note in it, it’s pretty bitter and tangy it’s like a super sour glass of orange juice. Violet is a floral so it adds a “flower petal feel” along with the roses, making them seem even more realistic. At first I didn’t think I liked oud satin mood but I love it now. I’m a huge fan of the benzoin and vanilla and roses in it. I don’t like oud normally but this is definitely a gem for me. Also you’re welcome! Keep doing what you’re doing, I love your content!

If you like rose then definitely try satin mood as it has the 2 different roses in it, I would recommend buying a sample first before ordering a full bottle though just in case it’s not for you, as it has quite a bit of Oud in there too :) thank you for watching!

I just randomly chose them hahaha :D i like silk mood actually... thank you for this comparison! i was actually planning on getting Satin Mood in my next sample set :) i feel the same! i don't feel like it fits the simple and carefree life that i have ! :D XD as you said, this woud be a great business kind of scent... has such a presence.. smells like money... perfect for signing contracts! hahahaha

Hi, I ordered 2 bottles the other day of oud SATIN mood but today when I opened the delivery box I found 2 bottles of oud SILK mood &like a dummy ripped into 1 to spray it&then realised the mistake.I'm super annoyed that they did that (I also got a new bottle of Baccarat 540 Extrait De Parfum bc I was running low &can't be without that 1). Hi Ivana, you can buy samples from Maison Francis Kurkdjian which might be a good idea as they are both very different from each other and both quite strong, so might be cloying for some. The more feminine one to me is the satin mood, but that one is stronger and heavier so possibly cloying. I hope this helps! You can always order samples of both :) thanks for watching!
