Its gotta just be an asthetic choice, because the way he has it set up means theres no really good way to crash anything with his left hand

@@jas_bataille imo, its a lot more limiting. Its boxing each hand into roles when theyre both fully capable of doing anything

Saw him with JSF at Petra’s in Charlotte, NC. It was humbling to watch such a creative and talented individual at work. Then I got to talk to him. He explained how much he tweaked every aspect of his drumming, to even making the alloy of his cymbals a certain blend to match the sound in his head. Then I became humbled by his humility, how a person can be such a student to music, and a servant to the music in them.

Crazy!!! He examines his sitck as though asking "Did I hurt you?" Then carefully place said sticks on snare drum when done allowing the other band mates to "Go In" YES! 👏🏾👏🏾

@nicholasfolchetti96379 ай бұрын
The snare he is playing is an Acoutin 1 of 1. I was talking to him after this show and I know he mentioned the material but I can’t remember at the moment. He allowed me to hold it and it was heavier than any snare drum I have ever held, which makes me think that it is a birch and or oak model.
