The miscarriage or an abortion can be emotionally and physically very painful and even devastating for a woman. Most of the women are not able to come to terms with the loss and the grief and tend to blame themselves for it. There is always a question if there was anything which could have been done to prevent this. in this video, we talk about what causes a miscarriage, what does not cause a miscarriage and what can be done to prevent this in future.

@@Ammugaja61 There’s not much you can do, unless you have had 3 early miscarriages, then it’s just a matter of trying again. Miscarriages are normal, they happen to all types of women and there’s no real reason as to why. Some women have miscarriages and they don’t even know they were pregnant, it’s a journey you are on and just stay positive .

Thanks for covering this Dr Anjali. This was explained to me by my gynaecologist also. However, my father in law got upset with me for this and my mother in law said it wasn’t in my kismat and I on other hand did retaliated that it was none of the two. It’s a simple biological process and is a chance event and if you understand science and biology even at a basic level it’s a not an uncommon phenomenon. I had a CM at 5wks in June. TTC for 4 month now and negative. I have regular cycles, ive been tracking ovulation, doing everything right during the fertility window. I got pregnant after a month with my son. Last pregnancy within the month I got pregnant. Now it's like a chore, anxious wait every month. I've even stopped my 2 cups caffeine and swapped with decaff, im eating extra healthy, light exercise. Trying to sleep 7hrs a day and stress less. I'm over 35 and diabetic during last trimester of my successful pregnancy in 2019 and the diabetes didnt go away but we'll controlled dr said its remission.

❤Sorry for your loss. I feel your pain. I lost mine at 16 weeks we got tests done as well and nothing came back as to what could’ve happened. Wish we could’ve gotten some closure. Doctor said look at it this way it’s better not having a health issue cause then you would have to be stirred in a different direction to make sure the next pregnancy will go smoothly. So I asked everyone to leave and it was just me and my husband. I powered through alone. I watched movies that din have kids or no family shows. Unliked/deleted downloads of pregnancy/child related videos and searches. Din meet any kids for sometime because that would remind me of something I don't have. I eventually made peace and being around kids and watching family shows din bother me much. Took my health seriously. I enrolled for Zumba fitness class and me n my husband played badminton weekly once. I read some self help books. Got back to my job. Went on short affordable trips. I prefer adventure so did that. With friends. Not with family or meeting family because that stressed me. Constantly checked with gynaecologist to know my situation down there. I hope you get out of it. Before u start to plan to conceive, please ensure ur TSH levels are normal. dr Will advice you medication to have in control. TSH levels in first trimester are very important as your baby would need ur support for thyroid. So there will be a need for close monitoring like on four weekly basis to adjust your dose age. Don’t worry it is easily manageable Of course regular workout, less stress and yoga helps your TSH to be regulated.
