It can be upgraded too! First with iron and then with a diamond. It increases it's radius!

I'm happy with Nomadic. This ones not bad, but I've got Dynamic Lighting already that come with Wisps, and I also use Realistic Biomes that has Aurora Borealis. I don't particularly care for the Modern tents, but the different campfires are kind of cool.

It's a cool add-on, but I would rather tents that weren't entities, don't care about picking them up and moving them in the long run, it makes feel buggy, just being able to walk through them in places etc, to each their own though, I understand the point of tents is that they're easy to pack up and go but still they don't really work well in Minecraft, sleeping bags seem the better option. The hammocks are definitely buggy and seem like they're just for decoration, you just stand in it, literally swings through your body.

Check out Nomadic, it's a fully block based tents, hammocks and camping addon. It's reliance on entities is second to none.

This one looks better visually, but the other camping addon is still better in terms of content. Plus that one is more likely to receive updates, where as this one will likely focus mostly on bug fixes and maybe a minor addition. That’s my own opinion though, I think Nomadic is the best camping addon so far.

This addon looks unpolished and buggy. Seems like the creator had lots of great ideas but refused to deal with the game limitations, instead of considering these for a better experience, just like the "Nomadic" addon did.

⁠@@jamesbond3w it’s not that heavily unpolished, but they missed lots of opportunities to make this addon stand out from the rest. this couldve been one of the best one with the idea like chest within the tent so u can actually set temp rest point when exploring and traveling, or portable actual campfire. those are quality of life minecraft players need. they have the idea right there but could be the limitation of bedrock or they just havent figured it out yet. hopefully next update will have those
