Yes you can fold it. Depending on how much you could lift, you may not even need the raps. This unit weighs 67 lbs. If need be, you could use ramps to get it into the vehicle for sure or we also sell a small motorized lift that can lift a small scooter or powerchair such as this IQ-7000. I noticed your knees were a bit higher than your hips with the lower legs straight up-and-down. Can the foot rest be extended outward to let the upper legs be flatter and the knees be lower? Also, is the back always so upright or does it recline at all? Thanks.

The footrest is not adjustable, only other option for fix this issue for you would be a taller cushion. That would end up raising you in the seat making the legs flatter like you are wanting. The seat back is stationary and does not recline.

I am not sure if they sell these in the UK. You would just have to google or contact the manufacturer to see if they sell them across the pond or not.

We only ship within the US. We have had customers that had a contact in the States and we were able to ship to them and they ended up shipping to the country they needed to ship to so that is always san option for you.
