Morning both, this looked AMAZING! The staff looked so friendly and I loved that foam pool party. Good that the 3 bars down at the beach is all inclusive, that beach would be great to get married on walking down to the beach. Shame about the erosion you mentioned. No, the resort doesn't give them to you, but a lot of times when guests are nearing the end of their time at the resort, they'll give their floats to arriving guests. That's how we got ours! Thanks for watching!

Hi Steve, i was to get back to you about the Majestic Elegance since we just got back a few weeks ago, we loved it, the only real complaint were the pools were ice cold in the Club sections. I love to swim but did not because it was so darn cold. Is it the same in the Mirage section? We did have rain and clouds for 3 days but wow this resort was so awesome we really loved it very much, can't say our room was renovated as the shower water ran into the toilet room and there was no space at the bottom the doors were closed so i think it may have not been done. Not sure, we overlooked a service road, very loud at times so they did not honor our request for a pool view but other than that our room was perfection all around.

Great to hear you enjoyed it except for the room and the cold pools! We have been to the Majestic Resorts several times and I do not believe they heat the pools. When we were at the Majestic Mirage last January the pool water was cold too. Odd about the room....they were supposed to renovated all of them from what I was told. Hope the renovation did not make the rooms worse! We have found that sometimes they cannot accommodate requests for room locations, but it never hurts to ask! Thanks for giving me an update on your trip! Happy New Year! (ps this spring I've been talked into trying a Sandals resort in Jamacia. Twice the cost of the Majestic. Will be interesting to compare!)

We would have changed our rooms had we come in earlier we got to our room past l2:30 and we were tired and hungry. As for the pools we were surprised because we have been to Dominican many times and never experienced pools this cold, it was a real downer for us because i love to go in the water and i just didn't want to. The Majestic for us was over 2000 for one week. We live in Canada prices have sky rocketed. Good luck with Sandals we have been to the Luxury Gran Bahia in Jamaica last year and the Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton 10 years ago. Jamaica is beautiful. @@TravelwithNJSteveandSue

Hello, the resort is on one level and they do have elevators in the buildings with the rooms. But you could request to be on the first floor and also request to be closer to the dining area if that makes it easier for her. There are no trams since the resort is not that big and is easily walkable for most people. Yes, we would definitely recommend the resort but we recently came back from the Elegance and found it to be just as nice for a little less money. The kids had to stay in the family section of resort and couldn't go into the club area. But the family pool is actually the biggest pool on the elegance resort. Hello! Shuttle to and from the resort is not included. You can arrange it with the resort for a fee (via Go Majestic) by calling the majestic resort number on the website. But we have always arranged transportation with Diamond Transport and never had an issue (link is in the description section of this video). To find them at the airport after you get outside where all the transport companies are, just walk to the end of the area and ask anyone you see where the Diamond Transport people are. We usually arrange a round trip when we first book from home before leaving on our trip. Hope that helps! Thanks for watching and for asking a question!

Yes, the coffee shop and all the restaurants & bars are included in the price. The only thing that's extra is the Spa. Yes, the Majestic next door (the Majestic Elegance) is very much worth it and is a little less expensive than the Majestic Mirage. If you go to the Elegance, just get one of the Club rooms since it is the adult only section of the resort and gives you some extras like access to the Club Lounges. We are going to the Elegance this August and will do a full report! Thanks for watching!

Hey, happy birthday and congratulations to your wife. Great gift! Yes, there is a single nightclub called Coco's nightclub that's shared by all three Majestic resorts. It's located between the Majestic Elegance and The Majestic Colonial, but it's an easy walk from The Majestic Mirage. Other than that at the mirage they'll have a band with dancing on the plaza early in the evening and then a show in the theater. After that is when the Coco's nightclub opens up. Hope that helps. Hello, there's no outdoor seating at the main buffet but there is outdoor seating at the steakhouse on the plaza which I did not show. So all three majestic resorts.... The colonial, mirage and elegance each have a band in the evening with dancing on the outside patio. They then have a show on a stage each night and there's a disco that's shared by all three resorts that has music that goes well into the night. Hello, we did see a room on the first floor that look like some type of kids playroom but we did not go inside to take a look. This was located in the first family building. I would either call them and ask them or use this email. [e-mail] We've had them respond from this email with questions before. It's a wonderful resort and the pool in front of the family buildings was actually the biggest pool on the resort and seems to have the most activities going on. The Elegance! The Colonial is the least expensive and the Mirage the most expensive. The Elegance is right in between but having stayed at the Mirage and the Elegance this year, they are similar as far as the service, food, and resort layout goes. Mirage does have bigger standard rooms, but we spend little time in the rooms. So Elegance gives you the best bang for your buck, in our opinion.

Technically, the only thing that shared between all three resorts is the casino and Caribbean Street that's near the colonial. However, you can walk on all the resorts and I'm sure you can hang out in the rooms of your friends without a problem. You might even be able to hang out at their pool, but you won't be able to get drinks or food at the resort that you're not staying at. However, since you're staying at the more expensive resort, the mirage, it wouldn't hurt to ask if you're at the pool and can get a drink at the elegance. Have to agree...food is ok. We just returned from a Sandals Resort and the food was much better, but it cost a lot more to go to Sandals. But we never went hungry at the Mirage! Well, the Mirage is not perfect but is very close to what you are looking, for in our opinion. Of the 3 Majestic resorts, it is the quietest. Just make sure you get the Club Adult Room so you won't have kids around you. The Club Adult section has its own adults only pool and is very quiet. Good luck in your search. Yes, I would say with a young family The Majestic Colonial or The Majestic Elegance would be the best, especially since those two are the closest to the kids water park. Of those two I probably go with the Majestic Colonial with kids. We recently did a resort tour video of the Colonial which will give you an idea of the layout. Hope that helps. ​@@hugomoran6854at the colonial, the restaurants are not terrible, but sort of hit or miss. We found the food to be much better at the buffet. Would likely be an easier place to eat too with young kids since they can make noise and nobody would really notice!

Hey, good question. The two times we were at the majestic mirage it was more of a middle-aged crowd and some honeymooners but there were some older teens too.. In our experience having been to all three majestic resorts, the majestic colonial seems to have more younger people. But the majestic resorts does have a disco located near the colonial resort which is within walking distance of the mirage and is open to everyone. Since the disco is open in the evening into the night, I suspect there may be younger people there. Good luck and I hope you do have a great vacation!

Well in our experience the families could sit on any areas of the beach at the three resorts but just not in the club areas. So overall there was plenty of room for families.
