Thanks for the encouragement. I'm taking my time to ensure they are done well. Electrical is almost ready.

Amazing job on dhc_q400. Way better than manufacturers CBT. Can you finish the other systems like flight controls, Navigation, autoflight?

Thanks for your enthusiasm. Unfortunately the series is on hiatus until Majestic releases the Q400 in MSFS. I cant make aircraft recordings until then. Hopefully I can revisit the series one day.

Thank you so much Please what's about the equipments? (oxygen bottle, slide escape etc)
@CaptNabs6 жыл бұрын
There are no escape slides in a Q400. Oxygen will be covered in the oxygen module.

Isn’t question 3 wrong because VLO is ( velocity maximum operating speed) extension speed is VLE
@CaptNabs5 жыл бұрын
In this case, it comes down to semantics. The question is "At what speed can you extend the gear?" I was implying that you have to operate the gear, so the correct answer to question 3 is VLO, 200 kts. Once the gear is extended, you can then accelerate to 215 kts. But I was asking about actually extending the gear....

I do not have a pdf. It was all done specifically for the video. Sorry.

Next one is just getting started. Planning on the APU. (I need a simpler module after the complexity that was electrical...)

Please it has been modelled to as close as the Real life Q400 is right?
@CaptNabs6 жыл бұрын
That's a pretty simple question with a really complicated answer. There's no such thing as a perfectly realistic simulator. Not PMDG, which models a lot of systems detail. Not even the simulators at Flight Safety or CAE are 100% realistic. They take shortcuts to keep the system able to function, and they have 5-10 computers for each sim. So how is the Majestic Q400 on this spectrum? The visual modeling is superb, both inside and out. The virtual cockpit is especially accurate, with only a very few 'approximations', mainly the back wall and flight deck door. Certainly, anyone trying to learn the real Q400 will feel quite comfortable after having played with Majestic's Q. The systems fidelity is overall very good. The major systems (electrical, engines, hydraulics) are modeled quite realistically, and even have realistic failure reactions. Some of the systems that arent well modeled don't have realistic failures, like air conditioning and deicing. Supposedly, Majestic's top end product will support these, if and when it ever gets released. The FMS is mostly well simulated, though a few features, such as VNAV don't work as well as they should. So on the realism scale, I give it an 8/10. And is it worth the money? Absolutely. It is a great model for the price. Hope that helped.
