Majestic Theatre

The 2,264 seat Majestic Theatre is a National Historic Landmark, and is currently home to the San Antonio Symphony, the Broadway in San Antonio series, along with a wide variety of concerts and performing arts attractions. The Majestic Theatre has operated under Arts Center Enterprises' management on a self-sustaining basis since 1989.

I grew up in San Antonio from 1940 until I enlisted in the Army in 1960. When I wanted to take my high school sweetheart on a date in 1958, I chose the Majestic Theater because it was the most impressive, number one place to go in downtown San Antonio! We are married now and remember our enjoyment while siting inside the Majestic and looking up at the stars and night sky projected on the ceiling.WE live in Spring, TX. now and believe me.....there is nothing today to compare to those "good ol' days in San Antonio and the Majestic Theater!
