Great reaction! I love this hommage to Helloween and "Eagle Fly Free". Tommy Johansson is indeed a genius and his voice... omg! Since you are into power metal, I suggest you check out Helloween or Rhapsody, couldn't find either on your channel. I suggest "Holy Thunderforce" or Unholy Warcry" by Rhapsody, the oldschool Rhapsody is just a fabulous combo of power metal and symphonic metal.

I have grown to like him, more as a guitarist - impressed with his stuff with Sabaton and especially as his solo has evolved. I like his vocals, but I enjoy his guitar riffs more so.

Tommy´s timbre is really warm and quite soothing. But he can also produce that high twangy power metal belting that you heard. That is something that you can achieve when you practice producing that "nasty sound" (twangy nasal) that BethRoars often mentions. Did you notice how many guitars they brought with them to shoot this music video? :-D It is true that I did not notice every single exchange myself when I saw this clip for the first time, to be honest. If you want to take a dive into the power metal rabbit hole and want to hear more modern power metal, then I would suggest two Italian bands: Temperance (symphonic elements and you saw one of the singers in Visions of Atlantis) - ‘The Last Hope In A World Of Hopes’ (Official Video) FROZEN CROWN - Kings (Official Video) For something relatively more old school, I would like to draw your attention back to two artists that were featured on Ayreon´s "The Day When The World Breaks Down" and these would be Hansi Kursch and Tobias Sammet. Blind Guardian - The Bard's Song & Valhalla - Live at Wacken Open Air 2016 Avantasia - Farewell live 2011 (this is more of a ballad) - kzbin.info/www/bejne/o3avoaCwpblkjpY There is no rush. :-D which sounds a bit weird in connection with power metal I would suggest doing MaYaN - Saints Don´t Die (official video), if you ever wander what sort of crazy ideas did not make it on Epica´s albums. :-D Although, it could be better to do those singles by Dark Horse White Horse first as not to jump straight into madness.
