Brilliant to see alternative layouts and the professional kitchen in the garage space! In addition to being a big composite super yacht. A super winner.

Please forgive my ignorance, but what's the advantage of composite at that size vs steel or aluminium?
@volodymyrslyusarenko89552 жыл бұрын
For this size of the yacht is very low draft comparing with steel hull

Great video, thank you. I worked in the cruise line business and I noted several small points with regard to the structure of Majesty 175. Majesty should look at another way of protecting the safety of guests/staff with the metal square shaped bottom of the supporting outside columns (look at 3:45). One of those corners will cut into your feet.

I agree a simple piece of wood molding butted up and rounded off would do the trick.

I was also a bit surprised to see the threshold proud of the deck. Many builders have been making that flush for years. It is definitely a trip hazard as well as an unnecessary obstruction for disabled people.
@volodymyrslyusarenko89552 жыл бұрын
Flush bottom of the door is a very big compromise with LY3/REG-YC requirements. It can be accept for the small yachts but above 500GT even such height is not enough without some tricks.

Beautiful yacht. is it me or does the height seem low for some of the interior rooms?
@pookatim3 жыл бұрын
Could be. After all, this is a fiberglass (GRP) build and that stuff is heavy. Perhaps they had to keep the height within certain limits or it would be too top heavy. Many new yachts are incorporating carbon fiber in the upper decks for this reason. I didn't hear any reference to carbon fiber in this yacht unless I missed it.

The layout on the dinning area and with the octogen is quite bad, I would have made the Kitchen bigger and lose the pro Kitchen and keep the tender garage.
@pookatim3 жыл бұрын
Some observant religious people require two separate kitchens. Not sure that is the reason but it is somewhat likely. I can certainly see the advantage of having a professional kitchen below but not having another one above.

Also as a yacht owner, I don't care if the captain likes toy garages or not it's not about the captain it's about me and what I want,and I love the little thing's like on the 140,155 and even the 110...

What are people doing all day long on Super Yachts during weeks long trans Atlantic / Pacific transits? I mean at some point one seeks to occupy one self with something ... Are there also rooms for activities such as VR, Science, bowling, room sized Flight simulator, Hydroponics, small art studio to realize ideas / 3D printer / Painting / music...Body experience spa with energetic beds that revitalize based on orgone and radionics? Zen Garden

Yeah, there is no telling what the owner has in mind for its use. Could be as a charter yacht and he is maximizing the accommodations and made the decor less expensive. But who knows? Perhaps that explains the dual "VIP" staterooms. You know, for people sharing the cost of the charter.

@kokomo97643 жыл бұрын
I had that feeling too. I did not really like the interior anyway. There are much more spectacular yachts that are smaller. I could tell immediately that this was built for a Middle Eastern owner. The dead give away was the Lounge. Classic Arabian layout. The whole thing seemed crowded.

I must give this yacht a thumbs down. I did not like the interior at all. Absolutely nothing exceptional about the interior or exterior. Disappointing.

Well, this was built to order. They had to accommodate the client's taste. EDIT: I just watched another tour of this yacht and the guy said this was designed specifically for the Middle-Eastern market and explained why the Saloon is done the way it is. That would also explain the lack of bar areas, wine coolers etc.
