Hi Nick, I'm a stone mason, just wanted to tell you the "textured beige marble" everywhere is actually Travertine, a sedimentary stone that often has fossils found throughout. Beautiful stuff.

The marble in the guest bedrooms is actually Travertine and it’s a stone rather than marble. Nice to see the quality of finishes and materials used. Nicer than the normal mass produced yachts.

As an ex-owner of a restaurant, I don't envy the chefs who have so little space for preparing meals for ten or more guests on these yachts.
@ralphlambda5359Ай бұрын
But unlike a restaurant, there is controlled meals. No unexpected rush or substitutions. Think of it more like catering prep than restaurant prep and the space makes more sense. Allergens and preferences known ahead of time, limited menu offerings already agreed upon, etc.
@YorkshiremadmickАй бұрын
@sean6387 And such narrow corridors to use. I thought the same to be honest.

Galley is very small. Seen bigger ones on a yacht half this size. Should be at least 50% bigger for this size of yacht with the number of guests and crew.
@Daniel-xg3ulАй бұрын
You're exactly right. I was a cook in the navy. I was on a small ship, and even aboard that I worked for the officers in an even smaller galley. You have what you, be it ingredients or menus. I now work in a restaurant and it's the exact opposite.

3:55 that fire extinguisher lol. I wonder what their thought process was when they made the wardrobe like that. "Should we mount the fire extinguisher higher up? Lower down? Lay it on its side? Get a smaller one? Or just place it somewhere else entirely? Nope! Let's cut a square out of the shelf to perfectly accommodate that specific fire extinguisher".

That really was fascinating, Nick. The only change I would make, is to the sky lounge. Moving the formal dining back down into the saloon. And having a proper sky lounge on both of these beautiful yachts. As you very often comment, it is nice to have somewhere else to relax. Having been a DJ and karaoke DJ. You can set up equipment anywhere. You don’t necessarily need a dedicated room. It looked a little claustrophobic anyway. 😎👍

Nick, you have outdone yourself, my dude! Who else does such a positive and in depth video of two brand new boats in one video? Sometimes you are basically making infomercials for these boat makers. I know that both of these yatchs are on the same hull, but, you could have been self serving and released two seperate videos as you have done in the past when two different models of the same yatch. Though they were never moored right next to one another and it was over time when you were able to get on the second boat. I appreciate your honesty and attention to your viewers who you know love this two for one deal you afforded us. I still cannot find anyone who can match your perfect amount of detail. Enough to get us a look and explanation but not so much that it becomes redundant. If I was at sea, I would want as many redundant systems as possible. When being shown the boat on video, not so much. More than that, you genuinely love what you do for us and it's awesome that you have been able to turn that love of boats and showing them to other people into a paycheck. For those who don't know that you have sold them for a living and also were a plank owner of another youtube channel that also previews yatchs. Not to cause controversy between you and the guys you once worked with, as I know you have done work with them since starting your own, but you are the better of the lot. I am so grateful that I was introduced to you via KZbin suggestion. I am aware that you are paid by these companies who build these wonderful pieces of machinery with continued access on their boats and through reputation onto other companies allow you to film their yatchs. It is a matter of your experience and channel growth which now allows access. It is now the time when those owners at the big shows and those producing these awesome boats to be reaching out to you and slipping ol Nick a few pounds for your making time for their particular yatch. That or gathering together and through collaboration build you a 65 foot sports coupe with three cabins and two crew cabins, all with private heads. When they do, I'll be flying over from the colonies to be part of the crew for your first video of the Smugglers Blues III.
@AQUAHOLICАй бұрын
I'm glad you like them, however none of these companies are paying me to film their boats. 🙂

If these companies ever give you a yacht I would LOVE just videos of you going through and tracing pipes, lines, and cables showing where everything goes.
