If you camp in Finland: 1. do not make any kind of fire (not even on a pre-existing campfire!) if there's a warning on the news about fires ("maastopalovaroitus"). 2. When camping, make sure you are not on somebody's property. 3. Take all the thrash/waste with you, never leave anything behind. 4. Respect nature and never harass the wildlife (blasting loud music etc. counts), have your dogs leashed in spring and summer (nesting period for birds and animals, protected by the law). 5. Enjoy the beautiful, pure Finnish nature! You can pick berries and mushrooms, but only take those you recognize to avoid poisoning.
