I low key respect it, like she knew she was probably going to die either way, she didn't stand a chance against him, but instead of cowering in fear or begging for her life, she walked up to him, slapped him across the face, and told him he was a bitch. I feel sorry for Chi-Chi as a character, because she got screwed over. She basically went from a martial artist to a housewife serving as comedic relief by being "nagging Asian mom" trope taken to the max. I get that Toriyama found her gag of yelling at Goku and wanting Gohan to get good grades to funny to stop using, but it got annoying when the repeating gag reached that point - "Haha look at how much of a tiger mom Chi-Chi is being, not even the apocalypse will stop her worrying about exams" isn't as funny when you know Chi-Chi is supposed to be the person with common sense between her and Goku, but then again, i'm not the one writing the manga or directing the anime.

Yemma does not have any incentive to listen to a single mortal's wish no matter how good they are. But he's allowed Kid Buu to be reincarnated as a human blessed with supernatural power. Yemma does not do something like that unless he see's the pure necessity of it. He even allowed Vegeta to retain a physical body because he understood how dangerous a creature like Majin Buu was.

Some people say the Buu Saga is the worst one. Not only did all of this insanity happen in it, but we also got Majin Vegeta, the conclusion of Vegeta's character arc, some of the best dramatic and emotional character development in the entire series.
