I love how much character development Vegeta has had throughout his life. He was right. He was a warrior without emotion and stayed alone, even having a child and having a "wife". But things changed after he killed himself to destroy Buu and protect his son. In super we saw how much more caring he was towards Bulma, Trunks and even Future Trunks. Even considering not to go to the Tournament of Power because Bulma was pregnant and was about to give birth anytime. The last act of character development, fully sealing the deal of why Vegeta is the best character of Dragon Ball is when he saw himself in Jiren. The, "perfect, cold and ruthless warrior." Someone who discarded friendship and emotion. Vegeta changed since then. He knew that having emotions is what made him a strong warrior. Having people to protect and love was his strength. It solidifies why I think Vegeta is a better protector of the planet than Goku, even tho I love Goku too.

This is the theme i grew up. It was May 2001. I watched 2 hours of DBZ on Toonami from 12 pm to 2pm. It was during the Majin Buu saga where Majin Buu after turned Dabura into a cookie and ate him, Majin Vegeta blasts out of Babidi's spaceship devouring everything and the landscape changed for the epic battle between Buu and Vegeta. There, young Trunks and Goten found Krillin and Piccolo in stone turned back to life and watching everything unfold, hiding from the mountains feeling and sensing its unpredictable energy, watching the clash, the climax coming to its near end... Amazing theme, now its been 23 years later, and I get goosebumps talking about it, reliving childhood memories ever. This one came to mind. I actually recorded that episode. "Meal Time" was the name of the episode I recorded on VHS tape and spend hours repeating the episode. Back then, there was no Netflix, no Crunchyroll, no streaming, none of that. It was the happiest time of my life.

Nobody but Goku would understand the anger he felt, in his eyes. He was right... Unfortunately the fight came to a conclusion, with no winner, as Vegeta knocked Goku unconscious while the Earthling Saiyan had his guard down. Majin Buu, a mystical strong creature was out there waiting to fight their next opponent after beating a young hybrid and a sacred being. Only Vegeta could stop him, atleast in the Prince's eyes.
