There's a high likelihood that you were actually able to get there as a child initially, but they blocked it due to not enough time.

I noticed that with Zora's Domain, too: they arbitrarily blocked the path with rocks to force you to do Dodongo's Cavern first, but there's nothing in Zora's Domain that actually needs bombs. If you glitch past the rocks you can do Jabu's Belly and the dialogue at the end even correctly says "You've gotten your second spiritual stone". There's even a Gold Skultulla in Dodongo's Cavern that needs the boomerang to acquire. I think they originally intended to let you do either dungeon first, and maybe later decided to railroad you by just plopping rocks there.

Imagine having a single 3 day cycle in Termina. I feel maybe they could implement a failsafe thats not broken, like if you can reach the Mask Salesman he can clock you back in hours if you pay him perhaps? Say... 50 rupees per hour so youd have to grind money

I would honestly prefer the opposite. Immagine if day 1 just starts again after day 3 so you don't have to song of time and can just scarecrow or story time to day 1 again and not lose your bomb count and ruppies.

Pretty sure you can just replay the mini games for money really easily, especially the checkerboard walls one, so you’d just be wasting time performing the same task over and over again instead of pressing seven buttons; more work for less reward Having one three day cycle would be interesting, but paying to go back in time wouldn’t be

I would argue grass shuffle is worse than pot shuffle... at least in MM, mostly because the Keaton grass patches are glitchy and it's a toss up if you'll actually get the item or not.

Maybe I'm overlooking something, but wouldn't you WANT to have pots and grass enabled for it to be easier? I mean they are everywhere so you have the chance for any upgrades like Heart containers, keys, key items, songs, etc to just come to you way earlier than usual? Wouldn't that make it possible to farm items by leaving and reentering an area with many pots? Or is it so each of these items is set in one specific pot, so that you have to smash/cut every single one in the game in order to be sure you're not missing something?

Okay, I know MM and OoT randomize together because they use the same models and whatnot, but would it be even possible or feasible to connect other Zelda games like Twilight Princess or Wind Waker. I think it would be cool to watch something like an Ultimate Randomizer that connected most games, but that may be a stretch.

Iirc these combo randos work because of overlapping addresses in the ram This also allows for alttp and super metroid randos

would likely just need a full rewrite of the games (extremely daunting task), or some way to link together separate emulators into 1 (also daunting), for a less seamless experience you could probably use the archipellago multiworld thing, im not EXACTLY sure how that works though, but it may work! if you wanted it to just be within a single experience, it would be very very tough though. i would like to see it personally

What i do when i want a sword for young link in oot when i do a randomizer is if i get the prescription and use it with king zora i go back in time seven years and let the timer run out and for some reason if a sword is unequipped it sends you all the way back to the zora king with the sword you had for adult and the best part it does the same amount of damage so i use biggoron sword
