I think what makes these randomizers so fun is how well designed OoT and MM are. Yhe team did such a great job giving most items a purpose. The base games are essentially a domino effect of item checks. Your progress is determined by your arsenal, which make Zelda games perfect for randomizers.

While the letter being used for the wrong thing sucked, wouldnt you have gotten it back if you used Song of Time? If i remember right in the Randomizer with MM, items you get once per cycle are permanent in your inventory as ling as you reset the cycle.

New Randomizer Idea: Absolute Insanity Randomizer. Everything is randomized. And I mean EVERYTHING. All Chests, Pots, Patches of Grass, and all Important Checks. Completely random, every item put somewhere in both games. Think you can manage to pull this one off? Condition: to win you must collect all 3 Triforce Parts AND beat both Ganon and Majora.

For Morpha if you don’t have the hookshot or megatron hammer you can stand in any corner and just slash it with the sword repeatedly when it stretches out at you until it dies. Kinda boring but it works if needed!

so gyorg can only be damaged after a stun if link is under water, you can do this with the bow using a really cursed strategy where you shoot arrows from a certain position and jump in the water right before they yit gyorg, but it is so terrible lmao

yeah even with glitches some seeds are impossible if no logic, example: if a seed requires zora mask to win but it’s inside the great bay temple entrance, you’ll never be able to get inside since you need zora mask and the song to open the entrance making it impossible
