My motivation tag line. "One bolt at a time". Even a ten or fifteen minute window, get something done every day. It keeps the ball rolling. Oh ya, forgot, watching a little "Iron Trap" helps!! Thanks guys.

Man the Merc looks so cool, makes me seriously wonder why they didn't make it look like that when it was built. Great job!

Mercury roof correction looking good. The side panel at the back is probably the hardest to get looking right. Can you guys put a top on petes car? I feel like it deserves a real top. Seems like its been that way for 20 years or more.

What type of lights did you install in the parts barn, Mike? (I need to update the old, dying 8' florescent fixtures in my garage.)

That 390 is a barnstorming engine, only surpassed by the 429 that came out in 64. The " Jetaway " hydramatic, if it''s rebuilt, is worth quite a few $, as they 're really obsolete and difficult to get someone to build it. Putting the 390 into the Continental is a great idea, as it was very common to have it done after the GM overheads were introduced. Bitchin' cars, but that V-12 was too troublesome. Gullwing motorcars in Queens has a 47 Zephyr coupe with an early Olds Rocket project that I'd love to play with. If you don't do it, save that beat up ol' b*stard for me. I missed the 39 convertible sedan, and you won't part with the 38, so.........

Consider drilling a few holes in the lip of the loader bucket so engines can be chained up for transit. Steve is too important to risk holding them back.

20:02 I just noticed the outer sheathing under the awning appears to be "missing" on the barn. Is the awning fully closed in and that's just a cost-saving measure?

Too bad about the V12, however, that Caddy will be a whole lot easier to maintain. A real Hot Rod Lincoln... The Merc is lookin' sweet.

Looks like it's time to invest in some leaf guards for the gutters on the buildings. That looks way to sketchy having to be way up there to clean out gutters.

Are the B pillars going back into the Merc or is it going to be a hard top? I'm digging it with the hard top look now.

Serious question, i don't know how your insurance coverage works in the U.S. In the UK any electrical work carried out by a person not qualified needs to be inspected to see if it's to code, otherwise the insurance coverage for any electrical fault causing a fire will be invalid for a claim.
