Major Change Being Made to the Garden!

Plans for a major change in the garden.....I've taken up the old paving slabs and and preparing to put down outdoor tiles. I also give an update on winter damage to palm trees and cordylines in my UK garden

Great work!. I cant wait to get my own place with a private garden one day. My plan is to have exotic plant species, i love palm trees. Watching your video is inspiring. I hope in London, they can plant more of this cute little exotic palms in parks and streets etc. They look like clean plants.and just very nice to look at,- everytime i see one i feel like im on holiday.

Great work with the patio. My brahea edulis looks similar to your chaemarops. Your chaemarops hopefully should grow out of all those brown fronds. I've been treating my edulis with hydrogen peroxide and dug it up and repotted. We will see how it goes....Your wollemi pine looks class by the way

great idea ?, you seem to be raising the ground level above the damp proof course.

The new paving or plant beds need to be below your damp proof course, or you'll get rising and penetrating damp unless you "tank" the walls. Everything there seems to be above the damp proof course. Only an observation, but check it out.

Hi I dont see how people are comparing you to Yorkshire Kris you've both got totality different gardens. He's moving a path out off need because of the size of his plants and your doing a patio?. I'd not worry about it

Be careful you don't raise the patio above or less than 6 inches below dpc

Hi, I’m not sure but I wouldn’t have high hopes for them if they are separated from the main plant as they absolutely hate root disturbance! Shame as I have so many that I’m going to put into the garden waste bin!
