Its not a problem of sonada only, but of whole darjeeling. Wherever we go to darjeeling, even in villages where there is road connectivity encroachment of road sides by parking their car permanently in front of their houses,shops,restaurants, hotels etc. Public needs to be aware. They only think of their mere profits. Footpath ma Dokan, parmanent Dokan ko area road samma samaan, garage kholera repair chai road ma, hotel lae paisa detera kineko jastai road side parking, public lae ghar banawda drain and parapat michera ghar ko verandah banayeko, and many more. No one is complaining and no actions taken. Sleepy and corrupt municipality needs to be awaken, traffic police have to be more strict, and the last administration, traffic police and municipality have to sit together and have to discuss the problem not only by words but by paper first. The vehicles coming from tea gardens and busty which park their vehicles all the day must be given a place to park away from main road to avoid jam. Tourist cars pick up and drop off should be planned, etc etc

Not a good place to park near a rail line. Darjeeling Toy Train has World Heritage status. Not the train drivers fault. They follow a schedule. 🙏
