MAJOR Karma Nichols Make-Over: Dark Roots & Cornrows (Unbox, Review & Reroot on Rainbow High Doll)

In this video, I'm adding Karma Nichols to my Rainbow High doll collection! With this new doll, I completed series 1 and series 2 of Rainbow High!
At first I was not the biggest fan of her bold neon colors, so I went ahead to unbox hair and give her a FULL make-over. For this, I tried several different restyles. The first look was a recreation of the artwork that was on her box, with the dark roots in her hair. After that, I also added some more partings to the front of the hair, using Bright Neon Yellow hair from TheDollPlanetHair. The hair is such a great quality and it's the same type of nylon hair as used on the original dolls!

Quick tip: For future RH Dolls, use a little bit of dish soap when removing the product from the hair. It makes the hair very silky and it's also very satisfying when rubbing it through the hair :)

I bought Baby Shampoo just for this purpose and it works great plus since it is powder scent it usually leaves the hair smelling lovely. Basically just run hot water and use the baby shampoo to get the annoying "crunch" out. So silky smooth after! Some times it takes more than one wash and dry for some dolls.

I love the dark roots and corn rows!! I actually love the mesh jacket, it’s a unique statement piece, much like Sunny’s graphic jacket. But I agree that Karma’s neon chartreuse color isn’t something that jumped out to me either.

Love the dark roots! Makes her look edgy. I love her eyes too, plan to buy some spares to modify!!! Ilove your channel and your creativity..I wish more people would subscribe. I wanted to ask you a question...I bought 2 of the boy dolls (not at the same time) and when I got the second one I noticed that the jacket tied around his waist was a completely different fabric. Have you come across these inconsistencies before too? I've also got 2 krystal dolls. I had to buy a 2nd due to a huge dent in the leg of the first & really poor quality plastics around the joints. The 2nd is better but still has flaws. Are you also finding quality issues or am I just having a bad run with these dolls? Please share with us.

Ohhh interesting!! I haven't found really big differences in the same characters, but I also don't really get a lot of double. Quality wise, I did have some big issues with Krystal and now again with Karma, which was pretty disappointing. However I sent an email to MGA both times and I have gotten a replacement doll for both of them that were perfect!!

Long story short (it's a really long one)..MGA not so willing to replace dolls in Australia. The European branch is obviously more willing to help.

Im one of the rare people that actually LOVE her color. Neon colors are a favorite of mine and this highlighter shade calls to me. But her hair and style? Didn't speak to me. The doll is only 14$ and isnt shown a lot of love so I might try my hand at sewing doll clothes myself. I want to give her an edgy-er look with some darker colors to contrast.

I feel like the head turns so hard again after cooling down, that it simply holds the hair in place. While styling the hair in the braids, I did lose some of the hair though, so adding some glue would have been smart
